i have gout. i am taking 25mg blue capsule called indanet from Mexico. i feel numbness in my leg and foot, could it be a sympton from this capsule, or a sympton from the gout it self. the dr. had prescribed colchine for my gout, but i got indanet from Mexico. ## Since you have gout and are taking both medications, it is rather difficult to say which one is causing it. 27 years ago I was in an accident. And now when the weather changes I have a lot of arthritis pain in my my right hand and all of my arm running from my hand to the neck. This pain lasts from 1 to 4 days. Doctor has prescribed this combination of drugs and I'm wondering if it will help? Thanks a lot. Maria ## Have you used this medication in the past? This combination is not available in the U.S. From what I know, it is prescribed in Mexico as a muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory. It should technically help with the symptoms you are describing. on 21st September I was prescribed Indomethacin @ 50mg x 4 a day - two days ago at night while in bed I suddenly found that when I turned in bed I had a uncontrolled motion sensation in my head and felt sort of dizzy and feel very strange as if things were still moving for a few seconds. There is no recent head trauma or alcohol association with this, no changes in diet. I feel certainly unsettled and without a clear head - no headaches though ## Tanganil contains the active ingredient Acetylleucing, which is used to treat Vertigo. Unfortunately, since it is not used in the U.S. I don't have much other information on it. Has your doctor advised you to use it?

My doctor has ordered this medication as I have cartalage deteration. My insurance says it is Indomethacin and is an over the counter vitamin. Please explain what it is. ## Where are you located? Without knowing this, I have no idea what the classifications are for the country you are in. For example, in the U.S. Diacerien is not even available, the U.S. FDA has not found it to be significantly effective at treating anything, because it showed effects only slightly higher than that of a placebo. And in the U.S. Indomethacin is a prescription only nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which is used to treat pain fever and swelling and it is not the same as Diacerein, at all.

Is it a vitamine? ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. Based on my limited findings, Diacereina is also known as Diacerein; (a name which may help provide more search options for your research). Meloxicam also appears to be related to this medication; quite possibly the U.S. brand name for it, but I haven't found info to prove this. hurts to swallow not a sore throat but pain after i swallow ## Are you saying it hurts, after you swallow this medication? If so, then are you making sure that you take it with lots of water? Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it may irritate the lining of the esophagus, if it comes into contact with it, because it isn't completely washed down. Alternatively, they can also increase your production of stomach acid, which can rebound into the esophagus and cause this type of irritation. Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to stop using this or you may need a medication to help reduce your stomach acid production.
