I believe IP 466 to be Ibuprofen 800 mg, although information on this pill is vague. Another related discussion thread on this site also implies an 800 mg Motrin (which contains Ibuprofen as the active ingredient). The manufacturer is reportedly Amneal.

IP466 is not as effective as the 800 mg that I used to get from Walmart. I agree with Shawna, I think these pills are not 800mg.

IP 466 is the 800mg Ibuprofen manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Keep in mind that generics from different manufacturers may vary in effectiveness even though the active ingredient(s) are the same. That is because overall composition (inactive ingredients, etc) are allowed to vary to a certain extent. Generics differing by manufacturer is quite common.

Its ibuprofen 600mg not 800 i got them form the dentist say 600mg on the bottle

I just got a bottle of these tonight from a health clinic and the label on the bottle says 800mg.

At least wer're agreed on WHAT the ingredient is, regardless of it's amount. :D
