A small casule that is dark green on one end and turquise on the other. It has E613 on it. ## I posted this before but it is a capsule that is green and turquise with the letters E613 on it.I dont know if it is hydroxyzine or not ## The capsule in description is Hydroxyzine pamoate (25 mg). My prescription is for Hydroxyzpam (gen. for Vistaril) but most websites and other sources say that it is Hdroxyzine as the active ingrediant. Are they both the same thing? ## Hi Randolf, Apparently they are the same... Since I do not know your medical history, I cannot guess why your doctor prescribed it, but it is used to treat allergies, prevent nausea. to treat anxiety and some other conditions. Take two tablets by mouth every 6 hours as needed for itching ## What i need to know is what is this medicine for. We ask for something to increase the appitite is this meds for that? ## This is actually an antihistamine, used to treat allergic reactions. It is also commonly used to treat anxiety and similar conditions. I do not see anything listed in the drug info that says it can increase appetite.
