Ok so I have to take a hair drug test for a new job. They said it would go back a year and well I am freaking out right now because I took some methamphetamine (a very small amount) back in september of last year.

It probably won't show up if you only did it once or twice but just to be safe bleach your hair 2 times then dye it back to your original color

I haven't done any meth, since November and when I did do it it was only like once a week for a couple of months... Well I just did it again today, & I found out I have court in March, so I know it goes back 90 days but if I only did it this one time after not doing it for a couple months do you think I'll be okay? What should I do?

I have been taking methamphetamine occasionally with my daughter's mother and we got tied up with child protective services, we have had a hair follicle once before and they just explained to us our levels and told us that our levels would have to be lower or 0 to show we haven't used and that the next hair follicle would be random. We had done good for about a month or two until we relapsed and realized it wasn't worth it here recently and we are struggling to figure out how to make it disappear. Anything will help us. Please!!!

I have been clean for 7 months and last night I got drunk and took a very very small amount of methamphetamine! I have a hair follicle test coming up. Am I screwed? What are my chances of passing?

So you have clearly stated that it is intended for detecting habitual use. I've been reading all of the good news for the light users or the occasional users however I haven't seen anything yet very promising in way of what if you are a habitual user? Can a habitual user one who has habitually used consistently for years pass a hair follicle test at all somehow, someway?

So i was in the hospital for a month from a car accidant and was on some pretty heavy opiates. When i got out of the hospital i had a lil bit of methamphetamine a month ago and now have to do a hair follical test. Can i clean my hair or will they know cause they are expecting to see the opiates or is it possible to clean hair just for the methamphetamine?

Linda i dont think you will pass. But there are cleaners you can use to clean your hair

Can you do an example of what can be a positive test on a hair follicle test please man I did once a week 3 time the same month only 4 hits every time and I have a test in 7 weeks from today !!! Am kind of worried

Redhair, if someone was using on the weekends (recreational use) it might show up in a hair test. It's almost impossible for me to give you an idea of how much will make you show positive because there are to many things that enter into a hair test. Based on what you said in your post and when you have to take the hair test, I would say you have a 60% chance of passing if you don't do any more until the test. Just a wild guess.

For the past 15 years on and off, i will stop for a year then go back to it for a few months then stop for bout a year. Every job i get i pass the drug urine test but this new job i wanted does both hair and urine. I had some last night and since april of this year. I turned down the job b4 i even let them take the follicle. I was suppose to start the job on the 19th of this month. I would have passed the urine test but not the hair follicle test, right?
