WHITE, OBLONG TABLET ## Could it be NL 705? If so then that pill is Guaifenesin + Pseudoephedrine, a decongestant ## No, thhanks, but it is definitely NL 105 ## NL 105 is 500 mg Acetaminophen, a generic Extra Strength Tylenol. ## found 2 pills on the floor of a patients room both are flat white oval pills one has 105 on one side nothing on other 2 pill has what looks like picva 616 do you know what they are ## Lee, Pill with imprint PLIVA 616 is 50 mg Tramadol. Can anyone tell me what this pill is used for?. The bottle says take 1 twice daily. ## I will have to assume that the abbreviation Guaife/dm/pseud 80/30/45 stands for Guaifenesin 800 mg + Dextromethorphan 30 mg + Pseudoephedrine 45 mg - in which case it is a decongestant, cough suppressant, and expectorant combination used to treat cough and to relieve congestion due to colds, flu, or hay fever. ## thank you very much.

This medicine is a decongestant, cough suppressant, and expectorant combination used to treat cough and to relieve congestion due to colds, flu, or hay fever. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include nervousness, dizziness, drowsiness or trouble sleeping, nausea, or headache. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. This was prescribed for a sinus infection. What is it? ## This is a combonation of Guaifenesin (an expectorant- it helps to thin and loosen mucus so you can expel it (through coughing or nose blowing, depending on where the mucus is) and the other ingredient, the PSE is pseudoephedrine hydrocholoride, the generic name for Sudafed (a decongestant). The medicine will not help you get well (unlike an antibiotic) but it will make you more comfortable by lessening the symptoms. I get a lot of sinus infections and I am figuring you like have sinus pain/pressure and stuffiness. Hope you feel better. Like the info. that comes with the medicine says- drink plenty of water.
