I've been on it for about a year now and I have gotten hit flashes but been thinking it's early menopause. I'm 43. I NEVER put two and two together. I've also been allergic to dogs for instance. I had dogs alllll my life. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
Another thing. I've always had sleep problems. Had a sleep study and I have restless leg syndrome. I used t o be lucky if I got 4 hours in one piece or 5 hours in a 12 hour period. Now I can and do fall asleep at all times. Especially after dinner. I'm ALWAYS tired and none motivated. Anybody else have these symptoms?

For those of you who are concerned about hot flashes and other symptoms, does list the following side effects to be associated with gabapentin:

feeling of warmth or heat
flushing or redness of the skin
unusual tiredness or weakness
trouble sleeping
weight gain
bloated or full feeling

Interestingly enough, I was able to find pretty much every side effect that was mentioned in this thread on that one page.

I truly hope you all are overcoming these symptoms and that each passing day gets better. Please keep us posted if anything changes! Best wishes!
