i was wondering what the fatal dose of flexeril was.... ## Flexeril contains the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine and the maximum daily dosage is 60mgs, split into 3 equal doses. However, what is fatal and causes an overdosage can vary from person to person, depending on their overall health and tolerance to the medication. my heart rate runs in the 40's, however it has been recorded as low as 38....and i'm not an athlete, just a regular 21 year old guy, decent shape(physically). My doc just prescribed Flexeril for some muscle spasms I recently had in my lower back. Being a muscle relaxer im afraid to take them, I don't want to fall asleep and not wake up! ## Yeah, that's hard to say, since it can cause depression of the central nervous system, so there is a chance that it could cause it to drop even lower, according to the FDA. Have they done any tests to see why your heart rate is so low? Is your blood pressure usually normal? Are you on any other medications? Do you exercise regularly? Do you take any supplements?

Hi, can you verify that this is a flexeril? I have a pill that has an m imprint on one side and 283 on the other side. ## Hello, Alex! How are you? The only Flexeril tablet I can find with 283 on it is round, a yellowish/peachish color and also has the letters IG. I haven't found any with an M and 283, in any NIH identification listing. Can you please double check the imprint? What color is the pill in question? I have run out of my soma prescription. I usually take 2-3 at a time. How many 10mg flexeril would be an equivalent dosage? ## From what I could gather, Soma is definitely considered to be the stronger of the two. However, since both medications can effect each person differently and I don't know your pain tolerance, medical history, etc, it would be unethical for anyone other than your doctor to try and tell you how much you should be taking to ease your pain. Your heart is a muscle too. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable taking so much of a powerful muscle relaxer before resorting to other pain management options. I failed a ua for benzos and the only thing I have been taking is flexeril. can it cause you to fail a UA for benzos ## Yes I would like to know why benzo's show up on my urine test every week and I only take flexeril,gabapentin,oxycodone so can someone explain why?? Yeah flexeril will show up as a TCA. I know for a fact that the strip test that's used are not 100% accurate, that's why they are sent to a lab to be broken down and tested. Flexeril is a known common drug to give a false positive for TCA. Which it has happened to me before. Although anti-depressants are not tested for unless you are taking them and the doctor may test you to check if they are in your system. Now if you are on a anti-depressants that's not a TCA it will not show up but show up as the drug you're on. On the other hand if you take flexeril and a non TCA anti depressant the flexeril could show up as a TCA. Follow this link for more information on TCA and flexeril

Okay. My sister suffers from GREAT muscle pain due to an injury she sustained in her leg years ago. Our grandmother recently died, and my sister inherited the house. She has found many different forms of pills, but the one that she's curious about is the bottle of Flexeril, seeing as how she's used it before in the past for her muscle spasms and such, but can't get any medication right now as she doesn't currently have insurance of any kind. Here's the catch: I told her that from my understanding, you can generally take Flexeril anywhere from 5-15 years after its listed expiration date. HOWEVER...... I am a 36 yr old woman that has suspected that I have RA for over 15 yrs. I finally went to see a rheumatologist last year in November. She ordered x rays for my hands, feet, and jaw/upper spine. Found out that the top 4-5 vertebrae in my neck are fused together, which now explains the severe lack of mobility and severe pain I've had in my neck for 15+ yrs. I took flexeril last night and just took a drug test today. I know for a fact that flexeril will not show up on a drug test if its not being tested for. I took a six panel drug test and passed. ## What if its a methadone Clínic test? ## No it won't show up. I went to a Methadone Clinic for 10years and I had been prescribed flexeril and no it doesn't show up.

My husband has a really good job and took a flexeril will it show up in a hair test test. He just took one. ## It should not show up on a routine drug screen. Some folks claim that it does in fact show up as an anti depressant but not likely they would be testing for that. And I don't believe I've heard of anyone being questioned about having an anti deppresant in their system. Basically they can test for anything they want, but the most cost effective drug screens test 4 the mainstream abused drugs. My husband & I both were tested randomly 4 6 months to get custody of his kids & I had taken flexeril following an accident. Nobody ever said anything to me about it & we have the kids now! I accidentally took to many Flexeril early Saturday morning. I felt horrible later .very tired .motor skills challenged. Today is Tues I feel almost normal but my pupils are still dilated.
