Federal Cutoff Levels For Drug Testing
UpdatedI have been going to a methadone clinic for 5 years. I WAS on a code 1 (going in 1 day a week and pick up 6 bottles) until the clinic switched lab companies. They approached me to tell me my drop came back dirty for codeine. When I looked at the levels it says 350 nanograms. They set the level at 50 nanograms. I thought 2,000 was the cutoff level. I told them I was clean and I ate Portillos hot dogs that have poppy seeds in them. They told me to stop lying and I will be returning to a code 6 (go in every day except Sunday?) So, my question is, don't they have to honor the federal guidelines that I thought were 2,000 nanograms?
