Myrin P Forte Can Be Taken With milk? ## Myrin-P Forte contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin, INH and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat TB. To be most effective, it should be taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before, or 2 hours after meals and, generally, that would mean taking it with only water. Milk can coat the stomach and affect the absorption of some medications. If it irritates your stomach, you can take it with antacids. Are there any other questions? ## Will the effect of yaz pills be lesse. if you are on a myrin forte treatment?

I am 61 Years old, i got operated lymphnode. After biopsy it says Tuburcolus Lyphedentis. Doctor Subscribed me AKT4 one sascet daily for six months. Do i need to do any test before starting the medicine. LFT has not done. ## AKT-4 kit is an anti-tuberculosis drug containing: 1 (tab) ethambutol 800 mg + isoniazid 300 mg + 2 (tabs) pyrazinamide 750 mg + 1 (cap) rifampicin 450 mg. This is so you can take them altogether, rather than getting a prescription filled for 4 separate drugs. For proper instructions on how and when to take your dose, I would strongly recommend discussing this with your doctor since he/she is the one who prescribed it to you, and may insist that you take it a certain way. However, I think that your doctor should've given you instructions or a patient prescribing...

is rheumatism/gout a side effect of myrin p forte? My mother had swelling in her knees and hands after taking the medicine for two weeks. ## Has a doctor diagnosed her condition as gout? This medication contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat Tuberculosis. They don't cause gout themselves, however if someone already has an active case of it, they will make it worse. So, if that's what it is, it's likely that she already had it and the medication aggravated the condition.

i am taking myrin p from 4 months as i was diagnosed with tb, now i want to get pregnant but want to know is it safe getting pregnant while taking myrin p ## You actually shouldn't try to get pregnant, until you are certain that the Tuberculosis has been cleared up. It can be dangerous to the fetus and the baby may be born infected. Have you consulted your doctor about this? Most of these types of medications also cross the placenta and the breast milk, so they aren't always safe to use while pregnant or breast feeding. Myrin P contains: Ethambutol HCl 275 mg, rifampicin 150 mg, INH 75 mg, pyrazinamide 400 mg More information here:
