Epitec And Wine

I have been taking epitec 250 for 11 months because encephalitis. Can I have a glass of wine?

I live in South Africa in Natal. In 2025 I passed out in the bathroom at work having a fit. I do not remember the next 27 day, I was in hospital been treated. Thankfully by a doctor who believed that she knew I had Encaphalitis and treated me for this.
For 5 months after 27 days, I had no will to live , just sick, in pain and could not eat.
In September some time I started to feel a bit better and started to return to normal. Thankfully we run our own business and went back slowly. 11 months later I go to work every day, do what I can, but cannot remember what happened yesterday but what when I was s child, I can remember.

I had another attack two weeks ago and feel like it could happen again anytime.
I do not drive , feel like I am half a person, cannot eat meat or veg , only salads, chicken and veg, or I get sick.
I have lost 30 kilos and am greatfull for this and my husband and daughter who have been there for me every minute.

Excessive drinking can increase your risk of having seizures, but they've found no correlation being increased seizure activity and light to moderate drinking, such as having just one or 2 servings. Thus, you should be able to, if your doctor approves, however, it may cause you to experience more of the side effects that the FDA lists this medication as causing, which may include nausea, dizziness, headache and drowsiness.
