Drastic Drop In Methadone Dosage

I’ve really been struggling when my methadone dose went from 100 mg to 40mg. Barely does anything except I’m not violently ill. I have this "screw it all" attitude and am taking other narcotics instead. Not easy to find. My question is...what can I do to get decently priced help? Any ideas?

Get on subutex.....or “generic Buprenorphine” 8mg ....I was on 40mg of methadone 4x a day and got off it in one day with zero feelings of uncomfortable withdrawls. Don’t know how but methadone made me feel horrible every morning so I switched and life is so much better

That is a pretty drop in dosage.Was it your idea or a disaplinary detox. The only thing that will help now is either more done or try and get on subuxone but if that is your choice wait 36 hours before you attempt to try or you face the dreaded Precipitative Withdrawel. The worst feeling in the worldI don't know what state you are in but most States have MAT medically addiction treatment Try and get into a clinic or Doctor who will help. What do you want to do????
