my 3 yrs.old daughter was seen thru her xray and cbc with atypical pneumonia she was given 2.5 ml of tergecef for 2x a day.we are not yet advised to be admitted to the hospital if she will not have a fever.i'm just worried are we safe at home or should we admit her already she has been vomitting clear phlegm was it a good sign that tergecef is working? thank you.

I had a urinary tract infection and the culture report found that it was an e. coli infection. ABST revealed that it was resistant to nitrofurantoin and ciprofloxacin. My doctor put me on cefixim for 10 days. It has apparently gone away but I fear a relapse. I also take cranberry capsules (4) and 750-1000mg of vit. C. and drink a lot of water. Should I have continued with cefixime for a longer period to achieve a complete cure? By the way, I wear a catheter and a urine bag as a reslt of incontinence following radical prostatectomy. ## Hey.. Hi....For the last 2 days I am suffering from loose motions and fever. The doctor that I went to today prescribed Clavicef. Frankly I am scared about this drug. Because in the past I have seen that any medication / antibiotics prescribed for stomach upsets usually worsen my condition and I end up being hospitalized. I am not sure whether I should start this course or not. I did mention my fear to the doctor but was told to try this medicine and let him know if the condition worsens.
