My wife was administered Tidilan 40 in the 3rd month to address shooting pain in the uterus. The tablet helped and it was continued till the 7th month. When we went for a USG we were told that the baby's growth is less. Even though the period was 36 weeks the growth corresponded to 32 weeks only. My wife was administered 3 bottles of Alamin SN drip over a week. We then went for a 2nd opinion where we were told that Tidilan 40 affects growth of the fetus. Expert advice needed.

dodong ## hooh ## Duvadilan contains Isoxsuprine, it is given to pregnant women in premature labor to help relax the uterus. It is not available in the US. I am sorry, but I do not have any other information on it. Does anyone else have more details? From more information that recently became available, it is listed as also being used for circulatory disorders. Patients should be watched for transient palpitations, sudden fall in blood pressure and dizziness. My brother in law has had triple bypass surgery a year ago. Now he's having issues and the diagnostics don't show another blockage... says the bypasses are in good shape but he has a small hole in an artery close to his heart. They sent him home on Isosorbide MN ER30. He's having terrible headaches which I understand are a side effect. But, I can't find anything that says this will help the hole in the artery. With such a defect, maintaining proper heart function is a priority, because if his heart got sluggish, so to speak, the platelets could kind of amass at a proble...

I am 20 weeks pregnant and my gynac prescribed above medicine for days for abdominal pain. Please advise is there any side effect of the same on my baby. ## Hi, Yogi! How are you doing? Congrats on the baby! If your doctor feels you need this, due to the pain you were having, then the risks would be far greater if you didn't take it as prescribed. Isoxsuprine helps increase blood flow to the baby, sometimes when you're pregnant it doesn't flow throughout your abdomen as well as it should due to the added weight of the baby or just sluggish blood vessels.
