My four year old son's doctor prescribed him co-aleva, she said that I would divide the tablet into two so that would give my son half of the tablet at bedtime. Now my question is, is it ok for my four year old son to take this tablet? Because I had read about some Infos regarding this medicine that it is only for adults? Please enlighten me, thanks so much ## Hi, Viktoria! Actually almost all medications available are used in both children and adults, it's just the dosage and dosing frequency that changes. However, I have to admit that if it were my child, I wouldn't want to give this to them at even half the dosage. The reason I am saying that is due to the fact that it contains Betamethasone, which is a steroid class medication. This doesn't contain a huge amount of i...

Friend gave it to me to use for my son's poison ivy does it work? ## Betamethasone dipropionate cream is a topical corticosteroid that is commonly used for treating allergic reactions to poison ivy and other similar plants. It works by depressing the formation, release, and activity of different cells and chemicals that cause swelling, redness, and itching. I suppose it might work differently for everyone, but in the event that it doesn't work as well as intended, you may want to consider some natural options. I ended up finding several types of natural poison ivy treatments on Google, if you're open to any suggestions?

can i buy metasone plus on-line ## From what I could gather, Metasone (Betamethasone) is a topical steroid that helps relieve inflammation and itch that may occur with certain skin conditions and allergies; but has other uses as well. Based off of the the limited information I came across, I'm led to believe that this medication is manufactured in or around India. However, the active ingredient (Betamethasone) is available here in the US, as it is found in a number of other topical brands, such as: Diprolene, Valisone, Diprosone, & Luxiq Are you open to trying any other brands?
