cough medication ## I was prescribed Benzonate for my cough while I had Bronchitis. It was not helpful at all and the over the counter medicine, Nyquil did a better job. Would not fill this medicine if prescribed to me again. ## Not all drugs work for everyone. ## I was given Benzonate for a cough and have been taking it now for 5 days. I have not noticed any benefit, but have experienced the common side effects. I don't think I will continue to take it. ## I was given this and its helped me to sleep thru the night. i have a round yellow gel pill and the only markings are a capital T. ## This sounds like a Tessalon Pearl, it contains 100mgs of Benzonatate and is used to treat severe coughing. You can learn more here: There is also a picture, to see if they match. Are there any other questions or comments?

yellow gelcap with imprint 3678 ## Tessalon contains 200mgs of Benzonatate, this is used to help prevent severe coughing. ## Terrible sceatchy throat. Cough til ribs hurt, head aches and short of breath. Was told to try tuss pearl to stop scratchy throat. Sounds good. Cost? I have Secure Horizons HMO. ## These are excellent. I have used them from time to time for bad coughs from allergies or colds, and they work. They quiet the cough with NO side effect, and work almost immediately.

If so, then I suspect it may contain Benzonatate, they usually meet this description and it is a topical anesthetic used to help prevent severe coughing. i found along oblong shaped pill with a2 stamped on it ## Located a match for a yellow, oblong pill with A2 on it, it's Benzonatate 200 mg. I found a small ball shaped clear gold tinted pill in child's pocket. it is small; about 7mm diameter. It has white imprint IL.
