I think the pharmacy gave me the wrong pill and now they are closed. My Azithromycin has always been pink not white and this one is white with GGD6 on it. ## Well first off, let me state that when a medication is available for generic production, it is made by many, many different companies and each pill will look different and have a different marking. The color actually means NOTHING. That said, this is, indeed, Azithromycin 250mgs. ## zithromycin comes in many shapes and colors it needs to be verified in the drug books with alll identifiers ggd6 bis not listed anywhere but here and it took me 2 hrs to find something on it

I located several pills that are a light tan color, but with out any markings it is difficult to determine the correct pill. If Statin is correct, it is used for lowering blood cholesterol. I did find two antibiotics with a similar spelling, so please double check to see which one you have: Either Azithromycin or Erythromycin were the two possibilities. My son (age 33) has a sore throat and wants to take this medication we bought in Mexico. It is 500 mg. Should he take just 1 pill?
