Are you asking if it's safe to cut in half?

If so, then yes, as long as your doctor or pharmacist haven't instructed you otherwise and it isn't a time released tablet.

My sensitivity to medications often makes me cut tablets, that aren't scored for cutting, so I can take a lower dose. My doctor just approves it first.

Can you take 6mg of Atenolol to prevent or block an adrenal rush? The adrenaline causes me to awaken between 2-4 a.m.

My mother is prescribed one 100 mg tablet of atenolol a day. The pharmacy gave her two 50 mg tablets per day and on the bottle it said it was the same, but her blood pressure is out of control. Is it the dosage change? Nothing else has changed.

I accidentally forgot to take my atenolol 100mg for several days. What are the effects of that?
