Did you people just crawl out from under a rock? Is this your first antibiotic? Almost every antibiotic causes upset stomach and diarrhea. This with the, ahem, yeast infections,,,,well that just is lousy and I would try and find something better. I mean, after all this is just amoxicillan with some potassium. It's actually one of the mild ones. The secret is YOGURT. Take your pills and hour after a good meal with YOGURT!

This antibiotic Amoxicillin (Amox Tr-k Clv) depletes the good bacterial created by the bodies natural immune system. Research shows that adults and children recover faster from diarrhea when eating yogurt. Eat a couple plain yogurts a day while taking this medication. It will help cure diarrhea problem.

I started taking this medicine 3 days ago for a bad sinus infection. The first time I took it, I got sick and thre up for half the day. Now I have real bad diarrhea. Thanks for hte warning about the yeast infection - I am going to call my doctor today and see if they will prescribe me the pill, maybe it will prevent it. I was getting concerned that it was more than just a sinus infection, but seems my issues are related to the medicine.

Docter gave me this for an ear infection. I have the runs sooo bad that Im afraid to leave the house. My stomach is burning with pain. I only have one more pill left.

I stopped taking this medicine on the 8th of Jan. it is now the 25th and I am STILL running to the bathroom!! How long does this last?

I think the key to taking this medicine is to also take some kind of pro-biotic. This medicine is very effective at killing the good bacteria in your digestive system unfortunately. The pro-biotic helps counteract that.

i'm taking this pill for 10 days, twice a day because i had a case of strep throat ;

i'm just wondering if this medicine can effect my menstrual cycle, because i've been experiencing spotting (brown,pinkish blood, sporadic) & someone had said to me it can be a result of this medication.

please get back to me asap, i'm starting to worry .

well i just started taking this med to and for the past 2-3 days i have been expercing stomach pains, nausa and server itching in my vigina. now if this stuff causes all this and more why not tell the patients or create somehting to prevent this cause that make you dont want to take the medicine which makes you sicker than you when you ent to the doctor.

I am another Donna who was given this prescription last Friday, 4/22/11. My instructions were to take it with food, twice a day. If I had any side effects to stop the medication and call the dr. It worked wonders for a severe ear ache in which i have a temporary loss of hearing. I have a doctor's appointment this Monday.

I was given this yesterday morning because I have a Sinus Infection. The dose is 875-125 MG Tab. It dries me up to the point that I have terrible sinus headaches hours later. I have used up four dozes of sinus pressure meds in the last 24 hours to relive these headaches. Is this normal, the sinus headaches?
