54s Vs Rp B8 Subutex

I’ve been taking 8mg subutex (54s) for about a year. Today I took half a pill didn’t think much of it as it felt the same but then noticed they were RP b8. Does anyone have any info on the difference? Since I’ve noticed I’m all worried if they are weaker, stronger, the same? If anyone has any answers I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks

Hello Miss,

According to the NIH both pills are buprenorphine 8mg tablets so it should be the same strength. The reason the imprint is different is the pills are from different generics/brands. There are multiple different generics that have both imprints and if you would like me to give you more information on the differences between the two I would need to know the generic/brand of each. From there I can give you a more in depth analysis of the differences between the two, which will most likely only be the inactive ingredients.

The 54 411 were Roxanne brand which has recently changed to hikima pharma. They have list some strength and chanced the inactive ingredients also. I've been taking these meds for yesrs. The RP pill is rhodes Purdue pharma which is very new and not much info on them but what I've seen has been very positive. Your lucky you didn't get one of the many really poor generics! BTW anyone who tells you there is no difference between generics is either lying or doesn't know what their talking about. There is absolutely differences in certain generic medications manufacturers

Each brand has its own imprint. It's not true that multiple brands share same imprint

My personal opinion is the RP b8 are wayyy better than the 54 411. Which use to be my fav may i add.. Plus those lil ones with the arrow.. Don't let the size fool ya..lol.. But everyone's body is diff.. So id see what works best for u.. But ON A SERIOUS NOTE... I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION... I HOPE SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME SUM INSITE ON THIS. I have a cpl of the RP b8 frm my pharmacy.. But the thing is.. when i look at 1side and I have the RP right side up facing me..and then I flip it over... on the other side... the b8 is at a slight angle like this \ Like SOMEONE PLZ TELL ME I DIDNT JUST RECIEVE A BAD BUPE. SUM1 PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP... PLEASE
