Hello, Aeriah! How are you?

They are placebo tablets, they have no active ingredients, they are actually just used to try to help keep women in the habit of taking a pill each day, that way they don't forget to start the new pack as they should, because missing any active tablets increases the risk of pregnancy.

And that also provides the answer to your second question, no missing any of the inactive tablets doesn't create a risk of getting pregnant.

Is there anything else I can help with?
