I'm experiencing double vision. Is this a side affect from zopedin (ambien)? ## The active ingredient in Ambien is actually called Zolpidem and yes, it can cause this as a side effect in some people that take it, as well as next day hangover like symptoms and grogginess. RXP is used on tablets manufactured by Sandoz and APO used by Apotex, these are both tablets readily available on the Canadian market, generics for Imovane, which is used to treat insomnia. I have just received from Pharmastores zopiclone (10mg) which is blue, oval with one score on one side and what looks like the egyptian eye as a marking. I'm concerned. I notice that this has been mentioned by folk in the past and someone has said they may be from Eva Pharm, Egypt. Has anyone taken them. I have been taking Zoplicone 7.5 mg for about two months and I wan to stop taking it and substitute Melatonin (I am 72 years old). I am concerned about withdrawal symptoms and worried about just stopping suddenly. How should I go about getting off of Zoplicone? Since this isn't available in the U.S. I am not sure what formulations are available. The BL zopiclone are OK. It stands for Bristol laboratory. They are not fake tablets. I take them. ## I got some today and they say BL and Bristol laboratories. I have been ordering Zopiclone online for years now. I believe they get shipped from Egypt. They were always a yellow colour and oval shapped and good quality. I odered some as usual and this time they are round, pink, blank on one side and a score down the other side? I have been having trouble sleeping, i still have a partial perscription from last year that says ratio zopiclone on the bottle, the pills are small white ones. On one side they are imprinted with TEC and the other side says 2130. I just want to make sure i have the correct pills in the bottle before i take one. Normally i am perscribed the 7.5 mg pill which is blue and i just take half when i cannot sleep, so i cannot remember if the 5mg are supposed to be white. ## These ones are listed by Ratio Canada as containing 7.5mgs of Zopiclone. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and funny aftertaste. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can you get zopiclone in the colour blue? Regardless if they are 7.5 or 3.75 I've never seen blue zopiclone... Do any manufacturers make blue? ## Yes you can they're usually made in India with the make of zop but my brother had them once and they where very strong but he can't remember the make cos he lost them through being so wired.

Can any one tell me why that is ?. I would really like to know! ## Hi, the reason they have stopped working is because you have developed a tolerance to them. This happens with many, if not all sleeping meds. You may wish to talk to your doc about going on a higher dosage or perhaps changing to a different medication. I find it helps to take them every other day, or even once every third night to stop your body from getting used to it. Changing to ambien may help or going from one script of ambien for one course then back to zopiclone ...
