Dosage for adult - How many days for treatment - Side effects - Precautions - Etc. ## My family doctor has prescribed ZIFI 200mg Tablet for a week [daily two tablets for seven days]. After four days my body temp. became normal. Hence I thought that how long should I take this treatment. I am now completely well. My daughter has been diagnosed with typhoid and the doctor prescribed zifi cv 200 tablet twice a day. She has a throat infection along with a high fever of 105 deg. fahrenheit. She has been taking the drug since the last 48 hours and has developed diarrhea. Since I cannot get in touch with the attending doctor I'm intimated to continue the normal course of the antibiotics and am also concerned about the side effects if any. ## Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of an antibiotic, according to the U.S. FDA. She may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and non-allergic skin rash. You are doing the right thing, it is best to continue the course of treatment, unless her doctor instructs otherwise.
