The Doc put me on 5 a day 8mg pills. In all 40mg a day. It makes me really tired during the day, then at night I have Insomnia. I guess it's better then taking Opiates again. It's truely changed my life? If only I can sleep! ## My doctor started me on four a day, which happens to be way to much. I don't know the exstent of your using but I can tell you that I was bad as they come. If you want to sleep then stop taking so much, no one needs that much suboxone. After a while It becomes a regular part of your life which I am sure you know. I now take only eight milligrams a day, I have been on them for nine months. After forcing myself to lower my dose my sleep paterns became one hundred times better. I went from over three hundred milligrams of oxycontin shot intervenously to ... ...

I had osteomyelitis a few years back. Was on methadone & vicodin until I got pregnant with my son. Got switched to suboxone and have been on it since. I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD, I'm 32 & it explains so much now. Anyway, I need to find a Dr who will be OK with writing me for both meds. Or 2 separate drs who will still be OK with me being on the meds ## Hello, Lilmama3! How are you? I'm so glad that you finally got the correct diagnosis. Yes, you'll need to see different specialists for such medications, so you'll need to see a psychiatrist to have Adderall, or another medication prescribed for the ADHD. You will most likely need to clear it with your Suboxone doctor, though, since these medications are also controlled substances. Do you currently ... ...

Any advice on this situation; the doctor that prescribed my suboxone and the other doctor is a family friend that I went to because I told him I was having a lot of trouble sleeping at night so he prescribed me temazepam? Now I am worried this might be considered dr. Shopping ! ## Hello, Frank! How are you? Doctor shopping is generally considered to be someone's seeing multiple doctors to get multiple prescriptions for the same drugs, say for instance if you were seeing 2 different doctors to get a prescription for the Temazepam from each. It's not generally considered doctor shopping if you see several different doctors for different issues and are prescribed different things. I HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO PAIN MEDS AND HAVE DONE GREAT ON SUBOXONE, UNTIL I HAVE MY PSYCHOTOIC EPISODES THEN NOTHING HELPS, AND CAN'T FIND ANY DR. IN KENTUCKY WHO WILL PRESCRIBE ANY KIND OF ANTIANXIETY MEDS WITH SUBOXONE. I FEEL SUICIDAL AND WOULD RATHER BE DEAD THAN LIVE LIKE THIS ## Hello, Sylena! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. The main issue, I think, is the fact that Xanax can be habit forming and is very commonly abused. If you're already being treated for addiction, them most doctors are going to be very reluctant to prescribe it for you. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and mood swings. Additionally, if you suffer from mental health issues, you'll need to see a specialist and most a... ...

Please tell me why I can't find a physician that provides suboxone and accepts insurance? ## Because only a limited number of doctors can prescribe Suboxone, they must take special training classes to be allowed to prescribe it. ## It depends what you mean by 'accepts insurance'. I 'accept insurance' in my practice.. I don't accept the insurance as 'total payment', though, because every insurer pays differently-- usually depending on how expensive the insurance policy is. Suboxone patients are treated exactly the same as any of the patients in my general psychiatry practice. One insurer may pay $30, and for the same service another insurer pays $150! So if my charge for the service is $155, the first patient will have to pay an additional $125, and the se... ...

Okay guys, I need some feedback and fast. I am only 25 and I have severe TMJ I live in Mobile, AL and because my condition is so severe I have to go to Birmingham (5 hours away) to see a doctor that is qualified to handle it. Because of Alabama Drug laws. A doctor in a different city has to have seen you to prescribe you Narcotic pain medication. I was going to Birmingham about once every 2-3 weeks to get my prescriptions filled but that was getting costly so my doctor referred me to a Pain Management Specialist here. Without even looking at my MRIs or surgery history he put me on Suboxone, and told me it was a strong pain medication. I took it for about 3 weeks then went to see my Oral surgeon in Birm. He was furious he told me that Suboxone was for people with a dependancy problem and... ...
