I am 100% sure they are 8 mg subutex. I am prescribed these monthly. It's a generic version. My bottles say buprenorphine 8mg sl tabs. I found these pills in my foster child's bag. They were all broken in half. I was taking 2 white 5mg oxycodone IR tabs 2x/day but they were only partially useful in reducing my pain. My doctor reluctantly prescribed 2 pink 10 mg oxycodone IR (= 20mg) tabs every 12 hours. The number 048 is on these tabs. I have had them for three days now and I am taking them as prescribed, but they do not seem to work nearly as well as the former 5mg white tabs. Is this an issue that is simply in my head or is there a reason why taking 2 of the pink 10 mg tabs twice a day aren't working like I thought they would? Found mixed with rx bottle of Toprol XL 100mg EQ tabs. Bottle was labeled and contains Ethex brand eq tablets. The patient also has had Toprol XL 50mg and 100mg brand name tablets within the last year or so from more than one pharmacy. The m is very similar to the m on the toprol tablet with the AMO marking. They are said to be produced by "Balco Pharm". This is the same company that was involved in all of the Major League Baseball scandals. However, just to add some updated information to this post, any and all medications that contained Propoxyphene or its relatives have now been pulled from the U.S. market due to extreme safety concerns over the cardiac dangers they were found to cause in some people.
