White Soft Gel No Mark

Just found white oval soft gel no outside lettering or markings with an orange substance in the inside. Any ideas what this could be? ## Hi Bean, Honestly there's no way to really identify something that has no markings, unless you get it lab tested. But based on your description, I get the sense that this is more than likely some sort of dietary supplement, such as omega-3 fish oil, vitamin E, or some other OTC medication. I can only say that because I have actually seen certain fish oil and vitamin supplements both come in gel capsules like that. Did you just happen to find this pill somewhere or were you sold it?

I am trying to find the name of a prenatal vitamin I took during my first pregnancy. It was a brown oval softgel and I thought it smelled like chocolate (not taste). From what I could tell, there's no apparent marking, but without any other details, this ...

Oral?? ## Hi Paige, When you find things like this at the gym or inside of a gym bag I think steroids are almost always going to be a prime suspect, but without having a marking or imprint of some kind, this is really anyone's best guess. US prescription drugs all carry imprints, so we can definitely rule that out. This leaves any illicit, foreign, or dietary supplements as the next clue. I for one would assume "illicit" since why else would you stick a capsule in tin foil and put it inside of a vitamin D bottle? It only makes sense from our perspective that someone trying to hide/conceal something illegal (like steroids) would bother to do suc...
