My friens split what she says is a subutex with me one side has the 54 on it the other has a line do they have 8 mg subutexs with a line scored on one side that arent completely flat ## Hi sammijo, I haven't seen any Subutex that are scored as you mentioned them to be (at least from looking online). However one that did catch my eye is a round white generic Buprenorphine tablet with the number "54" sitting over another set of numbers "411" on one side and blank on the other. I wonder if it is possible that your friend could've gotten the half which contained these other numbers? And do you feel she is someone you can honestly trust when it comes to something like this? Does generic subutex have the numbers 501? ## Hi Leslie - Hmmm, I don't believe so. The only info I could find about a white tablet with the imprint 501 is Mirtazapine 45 mg, which is used to treat depression. (NDC 53808-0737). Does that sound about right to you? If not then I would double check where the medication was obtained. Are there any other markings or packaging for the tablet? Also, is it kind of oval shaped at all, or is it definitely a round circle?

If I get prescribed the sublingual film could I ask the pharmacy to dispense the generic tablets ## No Nate. They won't switch out. Subutex is a completely different script. ## @nate, It probably wouldn't hurt to ask, but if I'm not mistaken, your doctor may have to be the one to make that request prior to writing your 'next' prescription. Usually the pharmacy will only give you what they have on the shelf at that time unless your doctor makes a point of notifying them on the script that you want a specific form of the medication. Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. It's just like suboxone except they mainly give it to pregnant women whp are coming off drugs. 54 but they are broke in half. Its not smooth on the other side there is a line right threw the middle of the opposite side.
