white pill with red and green specks in it round ## I need to know what this k44 round white pill with red and green specks in it is. ## Sorry, I can't find anything listed in the US prescription drug databases for this, so I can only guess it is either a foreign drug or something available over the counter since they are not regulated as strictly. ## I appreciate all the help I can get..This was found in the floor at my mother-in-law's house when we moved her clothes washer. We have small children in our family and I got a little worried. I didn't know rather to post on a board or call poison control for its identity. Thanks for your help. ## I did discover that pills marked with a K are over the counter items, if that helps any. That would also explain why we cannot find a... ...

its a red capsule with a brown pill shaped substance with very few white specks through it ## i found these two red capsules a deep red the kind of capsules that have one half inside of the other inside is this weird brown rocky stuff with very few white specs through out it and its all in one solid piece in the shape of the capsule any help would be appreciated ## If there are no markings on them, it is going to be difficult to determine what they actually contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. However, that still leaves several possibilities, the highest probability is that it's an over the counter product, but there is also a small chance that it could ... ...

i found half of a pill and on one side it has wat and the other side only a number 9 it is white and oblong. I was thinking maybe xanax? ## Hi Lacey, Since you have only half the pill, there's only half of an imprint to search for; meaning it will be impossible to know for 100% certain what the pill actually is. The closest match I can find is Norco; which is a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone (325 mg - 5 mg). IT is a white oval pill with red specks and the imprint WATSON on one side and 913 on the other. Manufacturer: Watson Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 52544-0913 Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. Is this pill 5 mg or 10mg? And what does the 3604 stand for? ## Hello, Doc! How are you? The white, oblong tablet with the red specks that has the marking 3604 V on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And according to law, all manufactured prescription tablets must have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of an emergency, so any given pill can be traced by to a specific manufacturer. That's what the 3604 V is, it's just the code that Vintage/Qualitest has chosen to use on this pill to identify it as their product. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

The hospital prescribed me hydrocdone 5 365 its white oblong pill. Then my doctor prescribed me hydrocodone 5 365 but its white with red specks and a v on one side. Are they the same? I have just taken the rest of my white oblong pill and I'm wondering if I will be ok to take the speckled ones. I didn't know whether they are two different pills and if I can combine the medicication together? ## Hello, Courtney! How are you? If they are both Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen, then they are the same and taking them hours apart wouldn't be considered combining them, anyway. That would require taking them together, or very close together. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth... ...

Hydrocodone side effects

I am recovering from surgery and I have found that the little solid white hydrocodone 5/325's make my skin itch and burn horribly and also make me feel wired like I had 5 pots of coffee. The brands with the little red or blue specks, as well as the ones with the peach color (Norco I believe) do not have any of these side effects for me. The pharmacist doesn't believe me because she says it's all the same drug but there is a DRASTIC difference for me. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what is the cause? ## Hello, Jill! How are you? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another. They are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients. For most people, since these d... ...

Hydrocodone Generics

I was prescribed hydrocodone for a pinched nerve in my neck. I will have to take it awhile because my health insurance is insisting I undergo less invasive treatment before having the surgery my doctor recommends. Anyway, the first prescription I filled was for 5/325, an all white pill with an M marking. I was able to take those without problem. The second prescription I filled was white with red specks (same strength). About a half an hour after I took one of these pills, I started feeling ill. My heart was pounding and I had chest pains. Then I developed a mild case of hives. I notified my doctor and he switched me to oxycodone which was just too strong. I reported this and he rewrote for hydrocodone. I returned the oxycodone to the pharmacy as I had done with the white and red hydroc... ...
