44 511 white oblong

Can anyone identify this pill? It's not a capsule, it's an oval white tablet, marked 44-511 ## Hi nikki, Would there happen to be a score line down the center as well? Most pills I'm finding that start with "44" and are followed by three digits are often recognized as OTC cough and cold related medications; though, I'm not finding any specific details on one that ends in "511". 44 533 and 44 547 have also come up with similar physical descriptions. And the only one I'm seeing with 44 511 is "round" in shape and not oblong as you mentioned it to be. So if you'd be so kind, could you also double check the imprint just to be sure? Thanks! ...

I need to identify a large oblong white pill with the numbers 58/98 on it and scored in the middle ## The white oval pill you are describing is Sulfamethoxazole (800 mg) + Trimethoprim DS (160 mg). NOTE: in addition to your description, this pill also has a cursive "V" imprint on the backside. Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim is a sulfonamide antibacterial combination that is used in the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections. You can view a detailed description of the drug by clicking on the link below... I hope this helps! ## Yes this helps thank you very much; turns out I am allergic to this medicine; I had to call poisin control and take Benadryl all better now ...

WHITE, OVAL ## I am sorry, I cannot find a listing for this in any of our resources. What I can tell you, however, is that pills marked with an L followed by three additional numbers are over the counter products. This company makes many store brands and generics of common items such as Tylenol, Aleve and Advil. There is just no comprehensive database of OTC items and their markings. Does anyone else recognize this? ## I just submitted an inquiry with Leiner Health Products, whom I believe to be the manufacturer. Hope that they will get back to me ASAP, and I will post any other details as I find them as well! ...
