White Oblong Pill Ph 073

What is this pill? ## I have looked everywhere for information about a white oblong pill that has the impressions of ph 073 on it. No other markings. Pill identifier has no listing nor does poison control. Any assistance is much appreciated. ## Is it possibly PH 063? We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. If it really is PH 073, then it is also more than likely an oTC item, which would explain why it's not in any databases and also why poison control didn't know what it is. OTC items are not required to have their markings logged by the government. You can see several threads about the one with the PH 063 marking here: It is highly possible that this is the same substance, but in a different dosage. ## This pill PH 063 is...

Calm down. It is a WalMart generic of Mucinex with decongestant. ## Thanks for sharing your finding on this pill ID. From what I've researched, I can definitely vouch that this is a generic form of Mucinex, known as Chest Congestion Relief DM. It reportedly contains 20mgs of Dextromethorphan hydrobromide + 400mgs of Guaifenesin. For those who may be sensitive to certain binders or fillers, I've also included a list of the inactive ingredients that are found in this tablet: magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose + silicon dioxide colloidal + copovidone + maltodextrin + stearic acid Does anyone else have questions about this? ## You're pretty close. It's generic Mucinex with cough suppressant (dextromethorphan), not with decongestant.

I found 5 white oblong pills with PH on the left side and 073 on the right side. Any idea what they are? ## Reese Pharmaceutical Company lists this tablet as containing 20mgs of Dextromethorphan and 400mgs of Guaifenesin, it is available over the counter, and used to treat congestion, such as that caused by the common cold. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Is there anything else I can help with?

This pill is white and oblong. It has a print of VP50 on one side and nothing on the other side. ## @Whitaker, Based on your description, the closest match I could find was a white oblong shaped pill marked with VP 120 on one side and blank on the other. It's reportedly identified as a Sulfamethoxazole (800mg) + Trimethoprim (160mg) DS tablet, used for treating a variety of bacterial infections. I realize the imprint isn't spot on, but because they are very similar, I have a strong feeling that they could be made by the same manufacturer (Vista Pharmaceuticals). Perhaps you can try contacting them directly for more specific details on whether VP 50 is something they make. The phone number/extension to reach them at is listed on their website as 973-736-1952/4457; based out of We...

it was supposed to be a white pill, levothyroxine 50 mcg. however I received green oblong pill with 9 and 3 on one side and 7 3 6 5 onb the other side. the size is also bigger than the white pill I took for years ## Wow! It's a very good thing that you noticed. A green, oblong tablet with 93 on one side and 7365 on the other is a 50mg Losartan tablet. This is an ARB that's most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Learn more Losartan details here. I double checked to be sure, but there aren't any green, oblong Levothyroxine tablets with the 93 imprint on them. I believe your pharmacy made an error. Have you contacted them?

Is this pill hydrocodone? I put some in a different bottle and want to know if this is them? ## Hello, Peggy! How are you? Are you referring to a tablet with the marking PH 073? I'm sorry, but the title of your post is a little confusing. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! If the marking is just PH 073 is it manufactured by Reese Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Dextromethorphan, and 400mgs of Guaifenesin, it is most commonly used to treat chest and sinus congestion. It's inactive ingredients are: magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose silicon dioxide colloidal copovidone maltodextrin stearic acid Though they may vary, depending on the manufacturing facility. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dry mout...

This is not in any way related to Levothyroxine and will not work to treat thyroid disorders. Learn more Losartan details here. Did you receive these in error from your pharmacy? If so, this is a serious mistake and should be reported to them immediately and they need to give you the correct medication.

White oval oblong pill with imprints ph 73 ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listed for a pill with these markings. However, this could be due to the fact that the PH logo is used on over the counter products and they are not required to list those imprints with the FDA. Where was it found? Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

Recently changed pharmacies. The old pharmacy dispensed in the manufacture bottle relabled with my script info. The dosage is 50 mg. The old script the pills are oval green color, with markings Side 1: 93 and side 2: 7365. The new pharmacy dispensed in a regular perscription bottle. The new pills are white, oblong with markings Side 1: P22 and side 2: LU. I questioned the difference with the pharmacy and they assured me it was correct. However I still have a concern. ## Yes, the tablets you received do contain 50mgs of Losartan, they are just manufactured by a different company, in this case Lupin Pharmaceuticals, while the ones you were getting at your old pharmacy with the 93 imprint were manufactured by Teva. Most pharmacies don't dispense in the original manufacturers bottles, b...

white oblong pill with a hour glass shape on one side and 73 00 on the other side... picked the scrip up for verapamil Er 240 mg and dose not look like I was taking. Dose any one know what this is? ## This tablet does contain 240mgs of Verapamil in a time released formulation. It is common for pharmacies to switch the pills they provide, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. It's how they keep prices down for customers that don't have insurance. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a pill that has the imprint PH 073 on one side and is blank on the other. It is a white oblong shape is this a generic vicodin? ## No, it is not Vicodin, this company makes over the counter products. Could it possibly be an 073? We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. If it really is PH 073, then it is also more than likely an oTC item, which would explain why it's not in any databases and also why poison control didn't know what it is. Dear Pres. Info.: My husband was prescribed Losartan 25mg yesterday. However, there were 2 different looking tablets in the bottles. Thanks to your web site, I was able to identify the white round one with 572 is in fact Losartan 25mg. The other one is "light green colored, oblong shaped" and the number '7364' on one side & the number "93" on the other side. Is this really Losartan 25 mg also??? Thank you in advance for your time and assistance to identify this drug. Most sincerely, Emily ## Hi Emily! Yes, the tablet with the 93 7364 also contains 25mgs of Losartan, which is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. Pills by different manufacturers will sometimes be used, if the pharmacy doesn't have enough of one to completely fill the pr...
