This new 224 pill is awful!! I get 180 a mon for severe migraines and its bad enuff I get nauseaus due to the pain. This new generic for from sun manuf makes me nauseas,and I get hives along with dry mouth! AWFUL! I went back to my dr that wrote me a new script. The bad side of it is I had to pay cash for them! I HAVE BEEN TAKING PAIN Medication it was great for years.The past months I've have noticed a big change the 20mg. I have been taking Amneil 10-325 oxycodone for 4 yrs and found it very effective and now my pharmacist said he no longer order this and has given me Rhodes replacement which makes me very tired, nauseated and not as strong. My pharm just switched to the Rhodes 10/325 and I might as well be taking aspirin, except it makes me itch so bad and causes headaches and the sweats. I love the quailtest or the endo. I am calling my pharm in the morning to complain and see if they will be getting something else in. If not I'll be calling local pharms to find something else. I hate these. ## I agree 100 percent. I have celiac disease and I just refilled a prescription for Oxycodone 5mg Tabs. My pharmacy switched manufacturers from QLT to SUN Pharmaceuticals (the site says the generic is made by Caraco Pharmaceutical. I took one and 3 hours later I'm having gluten-like pain. The Sun-Caraco site lists the inactive ingredients as: anhydrous lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate. Does anybody know if the pregelatinized starch, and sodium starch glycolate they use has gluten in it-- (wheat based rather than corn, or potato based)? ## Sun Pharmaceutical Oxycodone Tab 5mg does contain trace amounts of gluten measured at 100 parts per million. Alvogen 10/325 any one else feel it is not controlling their pain as well as other brands. Thanks for your input. ## Hi Annie, I have not tried the Alvogen brand specifically, but according to other related threads on here, Endo Pharmaceuticals is touted as having one of the best working Percocet tablets by comparison. My theory is that one or more of the binders/fillers that Alvogen tabs are composed of aren't able to sufficiently metabolize in our body, thus leaving part of the active ingredient(s) lying dormant within. The reason I ask is because U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance, and dosage. It look like a peach tan oblong an has 29 an a half sidways moon on it ## Hi Jessica, I located a match to your pill, except that this pill is shown to be a mid-toned yellow color as opposed to peach. I suppose in certain lighting it could appear peach colored, but you can view a photo of the pill on the manufacturer's page (linked below): As you can see, it was identified as Oxycodone 5mg + ibuprofen 400mg, and is manufactured by Actavis. NOTE: If the color does not match your pill for some reason, at least you can be sure that the manufacturer makes this same pill and it is likely that they are the same ingredients, with different dosages. Hello everyone, I'm trying to find out what manufacturer makes the best (as in best pain relief) 8 mg hydrocodone. I've been taking 8 mg Mallinckrodt hydrocodone since December 2017. I take the medication for breakthrough neuropathic pain (I also have intrathecal pump w/ hydromorphone). Prior to Dec. 2017, I was taking Actavis brand 30 mg oxycodone but getting only minimal pain relief which is why my doctor switched to the hydrocodone. I had tried a few different brands of oxycodone but in the end, stuck with Actavis as it was MUCH better than the others.
