Are there any drugs that can interact with methylcobal? I have some auto immune issues, asthma and CRPS and I take several medications for these conditions. I've heard B12 can help, but are there any problems that can occur with this supplement & prescriptions? ## Hello, From what I could gather, there aren't any medications that interact with Methylcobal. As far as B12 is concerned, this supplement has not been studied thoroughly enough so its interactions with any medication is somewhat of a mystery. Depending on your medical conditions, how much you can safely take must be carefully considered. You should definitely consult a doctor before taking B12 or any other supplement with your medication, just to play it safe. I hope this helps!

Will any expert tell me that this tablet is effective for the treatment of skin white spot (Burs). And if any sever side effect please mention also ## Methylcobalamin is just a nutritional supplement, it is a form of vitamin B12, so the only thing it is proven effective at treating are the conditions that may be associated with a deficiency in it. I am taking one Osertile 100 plus tablet and one Frenxit for each day for reducing high blood pressure. I have been suffering deficiency of vitamin B12. IIt is 155.49 pg/ml. I feel unbalance between head and leg. Can I take methycobal tablet with Osertile and frenxit ? If yes, then please mention doses and time. ## Have you consulted a doctor? I cannot find any information on Osertile and what it contains. Frenxit contains the active ingredients Flupenthixol and Melitracen, these drugs are used to treat mental health disorders, not high blood pressure. And since the B12 is a supplement, its interactions with medications have not been studied and, depending on your other medical conditions, how much you can safely taken must be carefully considered. This is why you should consult a docto...

I wish to know the difference between usages if methylcobalamin and mecobalamin as both are prescribed by different doctors for the treatment of leg muscular pains. ## There is actually no difference in these, they are both the same thing. The correct name is Methycobalamin, but in some foreign countries, the spelling has been adulterated to Mecobalamin. However, both refer to the same form of Vitamin B12, which is often given to treat certain types of pain, because a deficiency in this vital nutrient can cause or contribute to such conditions. Have you discussed it with either doctor? It is probably not advisable to take both, without a doctor's approval, because too much B12 can also be dangerous. ## Sir, I am being prescribed either mecobalamin or methyl cobalamin by my doctors. ...

I have been taking methycobal 500MCG and neurobion tab but not much relief. Any better medication? ## Both of those are actually only nutritional supplements, so they will only help if your condition is caused because you are lacking in some vital nutrient. Since such a thing is not what causes Carpal Tunnel, it is not really that surprising that you have not gotten any relief. Have you tried anything else? There are some other medications that actually work for pain that may help. Such as opiates: or muscle relaxants: Many cases of Carpal Tunnel require bracing and surgery: Has your doctor suggested anything?

I have LS straightening, osteophytes formation, annular tears with posterior herniation in L4,L5 and S1. have pain and burning sensation in LS region and in left leg, especially knee. Thyroid levels are normal but thyroid antibodies is 660 [ref range 20-60], Vit D3 levels are also insufficient. I have been advised thyronorm 25 OD, cal tablets, pregeb 75M BD. After 1 and half week of the intake, I am feeling extreme weakness in lower limb and in left side upper limb. I am having continuous tremors since yesterday. ## Have you consulted your doctor? It may be a side effect or reaction to either the Levothyroxine in the Thyronorm, or the Pregabalin/Methycobalamin in the Pregeb-M, however, it could also be due to several other causes, such as the low vitamin D, or some other medical condition...
