When To Experience Implants Side Effects

I just had Testopel implants put in about 48 hours ago. I noticed about 36 hours after the procedure some muscle cramping in my stomach and thighs. Now 48 hours later my arms and calves are getting cramps as well. I have been on testosterone shots for a few years now and I have never experienced this with IM injections. About how long after starting Nexplanon did you experience irregular bleeding if you did? ## According to the side effects listed by the FDA, it can vary from person to person, but usually takes at least a day, because it may take that long for the hormones to fully enter your blood stream and start having an effect. These types of implants typically cause irregular bleeding in many women and it may last, off an on, for the duration of time that you have it. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, headache, irritability and PMS like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

This is the second time I've had jadelle implants. No period but monthly cramps which are really bad. The last cramps I had were excruciating. Felt like I was in labor. My hair is thinning our and I've gained weight but my eating habits are the same. I'm having it taken out. The cramps are unbearable. ## Unfortunately, Sammy, those can be side effects of this medication, according to the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, headache, and spotting. I am sorry that the cramps were that bad. When are you having it removed? Has anyone else experienced this?
