What Milligrams Oxycontin Come

Hello I'm Ken i live in Virginia and been disabled for along time now been on every pain med available seems like but i use to be on oxycontin er the 12hr pill my question is do they still make and or prescribe the real OC in any milligrams here in the states or do they only have and prescribe the new version which is OP cause the oc formula worked good for pain it lasted for me an 80mg lasted about 6to8hours versus the new OP formula which did not help my pain at all it just seem not to work so i had my doctor switch me to another extended release med cause why take something for chronic pain when it never did help i guess it helped me not to get sick so it was useless to me but all ppl differ when it comes to meds or just about anything that life throws at you thanks Ken ## Hello,...

I am seeing a pain management doctor right now she has me on 15 milligrams of oxycontin the extended relief. I called her and told her that it was not working and she said the next time I come in maybe that she would up the dosage. I've been experiencing headaches major mood swings. One minute I'm happy the next minute I'm crying and then the next minute I'm a raging lunatic. I I want to be on something that is long lasting, I've already been the Norco in the percocet route. Those were not strong enough for me. Is there anything that I can ask the doctor about that is longer lasting? Does anyone know the difference between Roxicontin (Roxycontin) and Oxycontin? ## The correct drug names are Oxycontin and Roxicodone, they both contain the narcotic Oxycodone, but Oxycontin is an extended release formulation that is taken every 12 hours and Roxicodone is a regular release formulation. ## As far as ROXYCONTIN or ROXICODONE, what are the different milligrams that are available? I know of 15 & 30. The Doc put me on 5 a day 8mg pills. In all 40mg a day. It makes me really tired during the day, then at night I have Insomnia. I guess it's better then taking Opiates again. It's truely changed my life? If only I can sleep! ## My doctor started me on four a day, which happens to be way to much. I don't know the exstent of your using but I can tell you that I was bad as they come. If you want to sleep then stop taking so much, no one needs that much suboxone. After a while It becomes a regular part of your life which I am sure you know. I now take only eight milligrams a day, I have been on them for nine months.
