I want you to pls advice me on which Medicine to use becos my period is not coming out the way it shld be. What i can notice is that before, it you to come out very well but latet it dosent. My doctor said to start sprintec the Sunday after my period started. I haven't had it yet and started them yesterday anyway. My period should be here soon. Should I wait to take the second pill until my period starts or just continue taking them? And if I should continue them, how soon would they become effective? ## Hello, Alex! How are you? However, if you start them at any other point in your cycle, it will take a full 7 days for them to become effective, so you would not be able to have unprotected intercourse, until the 8th day. I had my period last may 15 and it's been 3 months now. Ever since I've started my period. I had an irregular period. I my first 5 years, my period stopped for a whole year. When it came back, it's the same irregular period i experience. Sometimes it takes 3 months for the next period. I never visit an ob for this matter. What would I need to do? Then Accidentally, I had intercourse last Tuesday (aug 12) and im totally afraid on what's gonna happen next cause it's just my second time. But im sure that we did it safe. I'm on Lo Loestrin Fe, where there are 24 "active" blue pills, 2 "active" white pills (that only contain estrogen) and 2 brown "nonactive" iron supplements. I know that with other pills you can skip or delay your period (if you have an event or something) by skipping the sugar pills and immediately beginning a new pack. But I'm not sure how to do this with Lo Loestrin Fe. Do I skip the two white pills AND the two brown pills or just the brown pills I want to be sure I get NO bleeding. I am 47 years old and on the 28th August i started spotting on and off for about 2 weeks before my period started. My period has now been going for about 3 weeks non stop. I visited the clinic and they gave me Oralcon and said that I must take 2 white tablets immediately and thereafter 1 a day until my period stops.
