What can I use over the counter drug when I run out of my clotrimazole betamethasone dipropionate cream ## What are you using it for? In the U.S. both Clotrimazole and Betamethasone can only be obtained by prescription, so there are no over the counter equivalents. Have you consulted your doctor? ## Lotrimin isvery close. Doctor recommended it with my childrens severe diaper rashes. Cleared it right up.

I have a groin rash and inch ## If you're looking for an OTC alternative, it most likely wont be quite as strong or effective as this prescription cream. I know over-the-counter Clotrimazole is 1%, but prescription Lotrisone (Clotrimazole + Betamethasone) cream also contains 1% of Clotrimazole + 0.05% Betamethasone. Maybe you could ask your pharmacist if they carry an OTC version of Betamethasone at a lesser percentage, and just combine the two? ## Can you use Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropiomate on areas that you have been bitten by Yellow Jackets that come up out of the ground, I am a Diabetic

My husband was in mexico for a while and started using barmicil compuesto crema for his face due to a break out he continuously has. However, I have looked all over the internet in order to purchase more of this crema. Do you know of a site? It contains Betametasona, clotrimazol and gentamicina as the active ingredients and the company manufacture is I believe SON'S. ## From doing a search, it appears there are several Mexican pharmacies that carry this, however, if you do not speak Spanish, you may need to use the Google translator to discover the information and ordering details. The Betamethasone is a steroid, the Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication and the Gentamicin is an antibiotic. It contains Betamethasone + Clotrimazole + Gentamicin. ## it's similar to LOTRISONE available in the US by prescription. Betamethasone (a steroid, like hydrocrotisone) is only available by prescription in the US. That's why you won't find it over-the-counter in the US.
