What Is Stronger Opana Or Percocet

I have Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes #2, Sciatica down both legs, Piriformis Syndrome, L4 L5 S1 Vertabre Fracture x2, Osteoarthritis in my spine, knees, thumbs, feet! Chronic numbness down my right leg, groin area that hurts like hell. I started out taking Darvocet and have worked my way up to Percocet 325/10 for the last 3 years. I was wondering IF Opana would work better? My doctor wanted to put me on Oxycotin, but of course my insurance won't pay for it, not even with a required PA! So according to Medicare Part D (which I have) they need a PA for Oxycotin, but not one for Opana! Oxycotin is considered a class 3 and Opana a class 2 drug! So is Opana as strong as Oxycotin? Technically speaking the Opana (active ingredient Oxymorphone) is a significantly stronger pain killer than Percocet if you are taking the same dosage. However, depending on how your body metabolizes it and exactly how you are taking the medication could influence the result. I take the perc 10 and opana 10ER..along with steroid injections every few months and I am not getting the relief I hoped for. My pain doc has been great so far and has adjusted my meds several times. I want to ask for stronger meds.. I work 10 hr days and I'm starting to struggle more and more. I want to ask for higher dosages, but I don't want him to get a bad impression of me. What is the best way to ask this?... In my opinion Opana (OXYMORPHONE), is a much better drug than MSCONTIN. It works much more efficiently and is much, much stronger than MSCONTIN. I live with chronic pain MSCONTIN does nothing for it. My mother who is 88 said she rather take percocett. She had double knee replacement yrs ago which resulted in a failed surgery, I have a collaspe lumbar, so I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to pain medication.
