i am in usa now and my reclimet tablet which I was taking twice a day is out of stock. however I have many strips of pioz7.5 tablets which I used to take 1 daily alongwith and stopped 2months back as doctor said I don ''t need it. can I take pioz7.5 twice a day for the next 15 days before returning? please advice. I've already started taking pioz7.5 after breakfast from last week and do not find any difference at all. I wonder whether I should increase this dosage as it apparently is not causing any difference...please advice ## You mean you aren't seeing a difference in your blood sugar levels? I AM USING GLYCIPHAGE 500 MG TWICE DAILY. BUT SUGAR LEVEL AT PP WAS ABOUT 150. DOCTOR PRECRIBED Pioglit 15 Mg ONCE IN DAILY AFTER BREAKFAST ALING WITH SAID GLYCIPHAGE 500 MG . NOW THE LEVEL AT PP IS 133. IS IT POSSIBLE TO REDUCE OR STOP SAID TABLETS OR REDUCE THE TABLET TO ONE ONLY BECAUSE SWALLOWING OF TABLET IS DIFFICULT FOR ME ## I wouldn't suggest cutting out a medication, or reducing your dosage, without consulting with your doctor. Diabetes can cause serious health problems, if it is not controlled and just because your levels have gone down, using the medication, doesn't mean they are going to stay down, once you stop using it. I am diabetic since 5 years My weight reduced to 7 Kgs. I took aurvedic product and brought under control . I left taking medicine and controlled over food, did exercise, walking ect. I am taking bitterguard jouce every morning in empty stomac. But it is still above normal(before breakfast 158 after 245). All other parameters of blood test are normal Please advice me the solution.

I am a diabetic type 2 patient for the last 20 yrs. My present age is 71 yrs. I am presently taking 3 glynesse mf (500 mg per tab) per day and half of Pioz 15mg per day. I was taking Windamet tablets for diabetese which seems to have been withdrawn by the company.Now the Doctor has advised PIO M 15 tablets in its place. Can someone inform which tablet is better? ## Windamet contains Rosiglitazone and Metformin. The Rosiglitazone has been banned, due to the fact that is can cause sever cardiac problems. So, any medication that contains it has been removed from the market. PIO M 15 contains Metformin and Pioglitazone, which is in the same class of medications, but has not been proven to cause the same dangers. There isn't any one med that can be said to be better for any one person, than any other. You really just have to try it and see how it works for you. I take one tab of Clavix As 150 daily after my break fast , I also take sugar medicine , Amyral 1mg , Pioglit MF 15, to maintain sugar level. Is there any side effect of Clavix As 150 due which the sugar level is getting affected. ## Clavix-AS contains the active ingredient Clopidogrel and Aspirin, it is used to thin the blood and prevent clotting. Since one year I am taking Jalra 50mg 1 tab instead of Pioglit as per Dr. advise. Since one month I am getting little constipation problem. I want to know is this due to Jalra 50?
