I took a 5/325mg hydrocodone for a toothache. It's been half an hour and no pain relief yet.. I haven't slept for 3 days, HELP. ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you doing? Have you consulted your dentist, yet? Not every medication works for everyone that tries it and if you have a dental infection, then the pain from that can be very severe. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. The hospital prescribed me hydrocdone 5 365 its white oblong pill. Then my doctor prescribed me hydrocodone 5 365 but its white with red specks and a v on one side. Are they the same? I have just taken the rest of my white oblong pill and I'm wondering if I will be ok to take the speckled ones. I didn't know whether they are two different pills and if I can combine the medicication together? ## Hello, Courtney! How are you? If they are both Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen, then they are the same and taking them hours apart wouldn't be considered combining them, anyway. That would require taking them together, or very close together. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth...

Is this pill 5 mg or 10mg? And what does the 3604 stand for? ## Hello, Doc! How are you? The white, oblong tablet with the red specks that has the marking 3604 V on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And according to law, all manufactured prescription tablets must have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of an emergency, so any given pill can be traced by to a specific manufacturer. That's what the 3604 V is, it's just the code that Vintage/Qualitest has chosen to use on this pill to identify it as their product. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is it really norco? I just got my refill today and they are not working as well as my previous prescription. ## Hi Yaya, My research from the manufacturer depicts a white oval tablet marked with 2172 to be identified as a generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg pill. For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 0591-2172 and is reportedly a product of Actavis Pharmaceuticals that from what I could gather, seems like a newer generic tablet since information about it is relatively sparse on the internet. Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin.
