Hi, can you verify that this is a flexeril? I have a pill that has an m imprint on one side and 283 on the other side. ## Hello, Alex! How are you? The only Flexeril tablet I can find with 283 on it is round, a yellowish/peachish color and also has the letters IG. I haven't found any with an M and 283, in any NIH identification listing. Can you please double check the imprint? What color is the pill in question? The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

i was wondering what the fatal dose of flexeril was.... ## Flexeril contains the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine and the maximum daily dosage is 60mgs, split into 3 equal doses. However, what is fatal and causes an overdosage can vary from person to person, depending on their overall health and tolerance to the medication. But, if you stay at the prescribed dosage, you should be fine. Are there any questions or comments? ## be careful. i took 130mg of flexeril and blacked out for 12 hours. during this time i apparently drove to meet a friend for lunch - luckily my friend, initially thinking i was drunk, drove me home and stayed overnight with me. ## My friend took 4 flexaral will she be ok 10mg ## Hi Daisy, I was reading Your post was 1- 30mg tablet of flexeril and and was out for 12 ...

cyclobenzaprine ## Can't wait to receive your daily Newsletter. ## For more information about this drug please see the page: Flexeril ## Be careful with Flexeril. If you are on anti-depressents, ask your doctor. I am on anti-depressents and cannot take Flexeril. Robaxin is better by far.

I just took 15 pills of Cyclobenzaprine of 10mg for pain. It's a yellow pill with the letter V on one side and 2632 on the other side. And im also taking bupropion 2x a day. Is this dangerous (?) cause I'm getting scared now. ## Hello, Rose! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Why did you take so many? This is a muscle relaxant, not an actual analgesic, but taking that many could still be dangerous, because it can cause depression of the central nervous system. And I'd like to add a note for anyone else that reads this in the future, if you have reason to suspect that your life or the life of someone else may be in danger, please call poison control or be send at your nearest emergency treatment facility. round yellow tablet with TL 177 ## I was given Topamax 100 m.g. to add to my PTSD cocktail of meds--I was still having terror nightmares and anxiety. It seemed to help as I recall 8 yrs later. After about 2-3 weeks, one day I started seeing silvery flashes at my eye perimeters when I blinked. The next day, every time I blinked, and sometimes when I didn't, I saw huge silvery flashes and was really worried..brain tumor??? Anyway, because the symptom was in the eyes, I got an emergency appointment with an opthalmologist (MD). He said my eyes were fine and asked about what medications I had recently added to the ones I used for depression and anxiety. Bingo! When I said Topamax, he jumped immediately and said, Oh, that's it! I've found about 20% using Topamax have acute symptom...

Can 370 mg of this medication kill someone? ## From what I've read, the recommended dose of Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is 5 to 10mgs three times daily; which would amount to 15 or 30 mgs total. I'm not sure why anyone in their right frame of mind would consider taking anything more than that, but 370mg is just ridiculous and careless in my opinion. Do you know if this person is even still alive right now or are you simply speaking hypothetically? In case of any overdose, you should probably be prepared to call your local poison control center or emergency hotline first and foremost. Waiting for a possible response on a forum may not be the best idea if the person you know really is dying from this overdose. I hope this helps!

Is there a xanax and flexeril pill all in one ## No, there is nothing that contains both active ingredients in one medication that's available in the U.S. That type of combination is one that the FDA generally finds very questionable, due to the possible risks of taking both and they usually will not approve them. Learn more Xanax details here. Learn more Flexeril details here. Are you currently taking both medications?

Okay. My sister suffers from GREAT muscle pain due to an injury she sustained in her leg years ago. Our grandmother recently died, and my sister inherited the house. She has found many different forms of pills, but the one that she's curious about is the bottle of Flexeril, seeing as how she's used it before in the past for her muscle spasms and such, but can't get any medication right now as she doesn't currently have insurance of any kind. Here's the catch: I told her that from my understanding, you can generally take Flexeril anywhere from 5-15 years after its listed expiration date. HOWEVER...... These pills were prescribed in 198-freaking-2. She thinks they're totally safe to take, just probably less potent. I'm not so sure. Does anyone have ANY advice o...

I had been taking Soma 350 for years because I have six crushed vertebra and recently my doctor changed to Parafon Forte 500. So far it's not as effective as the Soma was so I'm asking anyone if Flexeril would be better choice than the Parafon Forte. Thanks. ## It's my experience that Flexeril is better than PF (that's such an old drug, didn't know they still made that?) but nothing beats Soma. I've heard that docs are trying to get patients off Soma's because - besides being such a great street drug - IT FREAKING WORKS! Nah, that last bit was my rant. The Big Evil Three are (or used to be) Xanax, Soma, and hydrocodone. I was on those for years because they effing worked. My doc had no problems with me on those drugs but apparently the DEA did. And they broug...

i have chronic back pain however try not to take medication unless i have to. i have left over flexeril 5mg from a prescription written in dec. 2009 and expires 2010. is it safe to take for muscles spasms or should i toss it. i like to keep some in my cabinet because the few times my back gets really bad i am unable to get out of bed. ## Flexeril contains the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant and you should contact your doctor for a new prescription, because it does lose efficacy past the expiration date, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. This creates the danger of overdose, by taking more, to get the relief you need. Almost all medications have a limited shelf life and will start to lose efficacy past that date. Are there any other quest...

I'm s/p stroke and taking plavix. Can I take flexeril for my back pain? ## Hello, Gigi! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but with your medical history, I wouldn't suggest taking the Flexeril unless your doctor has said it is safe for you to do so. Robaxin 500mg compaired to Flexeril 10mg, are they considered the same strength or which one is stronger? ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol and Flexeril contains Cyclobenzaprine.
