Is the yellow oval shaped (S 901 marked) generic Xanax a poorer quality than other generics of Xanax? I have taken the generic form for a while, but I take it very seldom (only when I'm wired at night and can't sleep) and I usually take only about 1/4 of a tablet. Last time I got a refill, the pill was a light yellow oval shaped tablet with S 901 on it. I can take a whole one of these tablets and not get the effectiveness of 1/4 of the other two generics I had previously. (One of those generics was a little round peach-colored pill, and the other was a small peach-colored oval pill.) Hi. Surprisingly my body likes Mylan better than other brands. I have tried Greenstone and Sandoz and don't like any of them Last time I got Alprazolam was back in 2012 that CVS carried it. I live in California and have not been able to find one single pharmacy who carries the Mylan brand. I was told that narcotics that were yellow had extra chemicals in them.especially the yellow alprazolam bars compared to the white 2 mg. ones ## narcotics are opiates their derivatives or synthetic opiates. the prefix narc means to sleep. ever heard of narcolepsy? i think the yellow bars may be 3 mg. alprazolam. ## Xanax is only pricribed in 0.25mg(white), .50mf(peach), 1mg(blue) and 2mg (white). 2 mg are scored into 4 pieces if u need to break it b4 u take it.
