Can i buy them over the counter ## Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to my knowledge, even though Ibuprofen is an OTC drug, I think the 800mg dose on the pill you're describing is considered to be prescription strength and therefore may not be available over-the-counter. Have you checked prices at your local pharmacy? I'm sure the cost varies place by place. The National Drug Code (NDC) for this specific pill is: 55111-0684. Maybe the pharmacy can look up the cost for you using this code. I hope this helps!

What pain med can I take while taking sulfamethoxazole? I wanted to take something for pain and all I have is naproxen. Can I take it while taking this medicine or an ibuprofen 800mg? ## The University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu) has a drug interaction tool you can use to plug in and check for interactions between various medications. I went ahead and looked up the combination of Naproxen + Sulfamethoxazole as well as Ibuprofen + Sulfamethoxazole and didn't find any warnings listed. While this does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist, I personally haven't come across any specific details stating otherwise. However, if in doubt, it's always a good idea to double check with your doctor first. If you happen to have any other types of pain medication in mind...

Trying to identify a red capsule with no imprint, having brownish powder inside. ## Hello, David! How are you?? With no imprint, we can rule it out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification and compounding pharmacies use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product of some type. Where was it found? Some over the counter products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. ## I got a similar capsule from Walmart in Reno, Nevada. ## I have red and white capsules with no imprint that are supposed to be Ibuprofen 800mg. Is anyone able to confirm?

would this be classified as oxycontin ? they are small pink pill--19mg ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so the equivalent without the Acetaminophen would be Roxicodone. OxyContin is a time released formulation. Additionally, there is no 19mg tablet. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? ## Oxycontin is simply an extended release version of Oxycodone. Without Acetaminophen though, Percocet would just be Oxycodone (immediate release). Is there an imprint on the pill you are describing? I may be able to look it up for you to provide you with more details such as dosage, manufacturer, etc. I hope this helps! ## I just had a c section 4days ago and my obgyn prescribed me percocet 10-325 and ibuprofen 800mgs.
