which colors are strongest to weakest? white, yellow, or peach ## The yellow and white oblong tablets imprinted with NORCO over 539 on one side and blank on the other, reportedly contain a dosage of 10/325. I think the white version might've came after the yellow one, but both seem to carry the same National Drug Code of 52544-0539. I also located a peach and/or white oblong tablet with NORCO over 729 imprinted on one side and blank on the back that reportedly contain a dosage of 7.5/325. Lastly, there's a smaller 5mg/325mg Norco tablet that's white with red specks; imprinted with WATSON on one side and 913 on the other. Hope this helps! ...

need to know by sight what is the difference between 325mg and 500mg vicodin ## I'm sorry, but you haven't provided enough information for me to answer your question. Vicodin is a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it is available as the name brands Vicodin, Lortab and Norco, as well as being available as a generic. Thus, there are far too many tablets on the market for me to be able to list them all for you. Additionally, you only posted the dosage of the Acetaminophen in them and not the relevant dosage of the Hydrocodone and there are several different dosages of it available, as well. Learn more Vicodin details here. Can you please post back with more specific details? If so, then I can look up the pill descriptions and markings for you. Than... ...

Has lp on top 145 below it.told it was vicodin???the other side smoth.the pill is white n round. ## Hi tru, Most Vicodin/Norco pills I've come across are usually white oblong tablets, but this white round pill marked with IP 145 reportedly contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone bitartrate + 200mgs of Ibuprofen. It's NOT Vicodin/Norco, however I think the Ibuprofen may make for a good alternative for those who can't tolerate Acetaminophen, due to potential liver problems. The manufacturer is listed as Amneal Pharma. I hope this helps! ...

Is there an over the counter med that looks close to yellow norco? I'm checking to see if our sitter has changed meds on us. ## Are there any markings on it? I need this information to check for you. Can you please post back and clarify? All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have unique markings on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency, according to FDA law. Thus, if they are unmarked, they are not a legal U.S. prescription medication. The FDA also warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ...

( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in... ...

Thanks for any feedback. ## Hi Kittkatt, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I don't know of any doctors to refer you to, but I just thought I'd ask if you've considered trying any other methods of pain management besides medication? I've been on norco 7.5/325 for 3 yrs now for chronic pain d/t a nerve entrapment. These new laws are going to make it so difficult to get my medication and in the amount monthly that I was getting. So its looking like I'm going to have to deal with the pain (not sure I can but not sure what else to do,unless I just make myself pain free for good). I've been getting prescribed #180/ month and now I'm being told by my PCP that they can only write for 60/ month. It looks like I'm gonna be heading down withdrawal lane and I'm terrified.
