need to replace some pills to my doctor and then he will give me vicidon ## Prescription tablets in the U.S. have unique imprints to enable their identification, you will not be able to fool your doctor in such a manner. Norco and Vicodin both contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so why do you need Vicodin, rather than the Norco? ## It's not legal to buy on the street, so maybe you'll have to wait until the the original script is supposed to be gone, the way is was prescribed...Good luck, I 've switched back and forth between 10/325, and 10/500, when I am using the hydrocodone only for pain I prefer the 10/500, now however I'm using the Norco 1'0/325 for breakthrough pain.. ...

need to know by sight what is the difference between 325mg and 500mg vicodin ## I'm sorry, but you haven't provided enough information for me to answer your question. Vicodin is a combination medication that contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, it is available as the name brands Vicodin, Lortab and Norco, as well as being available as a generic. Thus, there are far too many tablets on the market for me to be able to list them all for you. Additionally, you only posted the dosage of the Acetaminophen in them and not the relevant dosage of the Hydrocodone and there are several different dosages of it available, as well. Has lp on top 145 below it.told it was vicodin???the other side smoth.the pill is white n round. ## Hi tru, Most Vicodin/Norco pills I've come across are usually white oblong tablets, but this white round pill marked with IP 145 reportedly contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone bitartrate + 200mgs of Ibuprofen. It's NOT Vicodin/Norco, however I think the Ibuprofen may make for a good alternative for those who can't tolerate Acetaminophen, due to potential liver problems. The manufacturer is listed as Amneal Pharma. I hope this helps! ...

Yellow with a v on one side an 36 slash 01 on othe, oval shape. ## Hello, Sissie! How are you? This is actually a generic for Norco. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs if Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in... ...

Additionally, saying they are yellow isn't enough for someone to know which ones you're seeking. Thanks for any feedback. ## Hi Kittkatt, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I don't know of any doctors to refer you to, but I just thought I'd ask if you've considered trying any other methods of pain management besides medication? I've been on norco 7.5/325 for 3 yrs now for chronic pain d/t a nerve entrapment. These new laws are going to make it so difficult to get my medication and in the amount monthly that I was getting. what happens if you get your norco refilled early
4 Replies RSS
Hi all! Was wondering what would happen in my situation. Today I went to Walgreen's with my sister to run an errand and while I was there, I wanted to ask which day my Norco script was due to be refilled (I wasn't sure if it was Friday or Saturday). I go to a PM doctor for degenerative disc & have been taking Norco since December. I asked the girl if she could check which day I was eligible for refill although this wasn't my normal Walgreen's but I figured since Walgreen's has a computer system, they can look up exactly when my script is ready. (I wasn't planning on filling it there because according to my PM contract I must fill at one pharmacy. I just wanted the date checked.) if i take two norcos 5/325 with my 60 mg dose of methwill i feel it ## Nope probably not. I never do "feel it" but if you are looking for pain control it still works better than tylenol/Advil with the methadone. Any narcotics are hard to "feel" while on Methadone. ## Wont feel it at all, its like taking your pills and throwing right out your window...dont waste your time... ## Laurie, I am a clinical pain management pharmacist. Are you taking methadone for chronic pain or addiction? If for addiction, you should not be taking any other opioids with your methadone. If for pain, the answer is yes. Methadone does not block the pain relieving effects of other opioids. Dependeding on your degree of tolerance to opioids, you may get sufficient pain relieving effect. I do not kn... ...
