I took a very slim strip of soboxone last night for the first time. Its been 15 hours ago. Is it ok to take a norco 10 now ? ## Hello, Van! How are you? It usually requires a break of about 72 hours, for another opiate to work, after having taken Suboxone, but you should follow your doctor's instructions. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can I take norco 5 hours after I took 2 Advil pm ? ## Van I hope u find the answer u where looking for. I take one Advil PM almost every night to sleep. I also take an Aleve gel ievery morning for aches and pains, because I find that the Aleve Gel works better for my aches ## They really shouldn't be combined, since they both contain NSAIDs, the Ibuprofen in the Advil PM and the Naproxen in the Aleve. However, it really depends o how close together you are taking them. If they are being taken 8 to 10 hours apart, then there really shouldn't be any severe problems. Both of them can irritate your stomach, though, so you may experience some problems with that, but that would also result if you were just taking one of them and not 2 different ones. Are there any other comments or questions? ## So I took an alieve at like 7:30 and I want to take a Advil PM and its 8:30 is that a problem?

I take one tablet of hydrocodone/apap 5-352 mg, but when I go to bed and wake up in 4 hours I can't get back to sleep. Can I take an advil pm to help me to get back to sleep? ## Hi Norma, According the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there is a high interaction potential reported between hydrocodone and the diphenhydramine in zzzquil / advil PM, stating that combining them may increase your risk of certain side effects such as: "loss of balance or dizziness, slurred speech, feeling confused, experiencing changes in mental awareness, or slow / shallow breathing." They go on to note that if adjunctive treatment is required, your doctor may adjust the dosage and/or frequency of dosing in order to mitigate any possible risk of side effect...

I have a headache and want to take Advil (Ibuprofen) right now. Only thing is I am planning to take a Tylenol PM (Acetaminophen with Diphenhydramine) in about 2 hours to go to bed. Does anybody know if it is okay to take Acetaminophen a couple hours after taking Ibuprofen?? ## Yes, as long as your doctor approves, they can be combined, and it is sometimes recommended that a person do so, to treat certain types of pain, such as severe headaches, and arthritis. As a matter of fact, there is now a product available over the counter called Advil Dual Action, and it contains Ibuprofen, and Acetaminophen. However, as I said, you should first make sure it is safe for you to take them, and make sure you don't exceed the recommended safe dosing amounts. The FDA warns that Ibuprofen, and Acet...
