I have taken 7.5mg hydrocodone for pain in the past, the only effect being the absence of pain. Took one about 3 hrs. ago for a toothache and......it KNOCKED ME OUT! Had to lie down, slept for about two and a half hours, and I'm still really groggy. The ones I've taken in the past were not 'Watson 502', and I'm wondering why this one affected me so differently. ## Hi Leslie, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences in side effects you are feeling have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don'...

pinkoblong with aline down center ## Watson 502 is Acetaminophen 650 mg + 7.5 mg Hydrocodone (generic Vicodin, narcotic pain killer) ## Abe's identification is correct, but I do have to state that this dosage is no longer available, the FDA has require that the dosage in each single dose if these combination medications be reduced to no more than 325mgs. They also warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything I can help with?

pale pink oblong tablet with watson 502 on one side and a score mark down the center of other side. What is this?????? ## What is the name of this pill. and what is the side effects. ## Watson 502 is Acetaminophen 650 mg + 7.5 mg Hydrocodone (narcotic pain killer) ## That is correct, thank you Abe! And I just want to add some new information for anyone in the future that may be looking for an identification on this tablet… The FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of these combination prescription medications be lowered to no more than 325mgs per dose, due to the risk of liver damage or failure that can occur with long-term use, as well as the risk of overdose toxicity. Some manufacturers have already begun implementing the change and the rest are e...

Where did you get it? It is most likely the same as the pink one, which contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. Watson has recently been removing the dyes from their tablets, since they were receiving many complaints from people that were sensitive to the coloring agents or allergic to them. They've been gradually changing them all to just being white tablets. You should double check with your pharmacist to be certain. Learn more Vicodin details here. Is the pink oblong Watson 502 stronger than the yellow Vicodin 3601 the 3601 actually give me energy and that's what I want ## Hello, Shorty! How are you? These pills aren't intended to be used for energy. That's actually why some people end up becoming addicted to them, because that type of side effect eventually wears off and the person has to keep taking more and more to get it back. Now, as to these tablets… The one with the WATSON 502 marking is no longer being manufactured. Watson listed it as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. However, all doses for combination prescription products have now been lowered to containing no more than 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, per dose. The one with the 3601 V marking is manufactured by Qualitest Pharma...

I am on pain pills to manage the chronic pain I experience from Fibromyalgia, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Neuropathy, and back/disc problems. We moved, so I just changed pharmacies. I get a Rx every month for hydrocodone-apap 7.5-650 (used to get 10-650's but couldn't stand the nausea, so I asked them to bump it down a bit). I used to get the pink pills that had WATSON 502 (I think it was) on them, generic for Lorcet Plus. Now I filled the same Rx at the new pharmacy and they gave me some white scored oblong tablet that says M359. It also says generic for Lorcet Plus tablet. Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference other than the manufacturer of the pills? (like, if one is better than the other). The old ones (WATSON) seemed like they took forever to kick in and at t...
