Where can I find them? they keep changing them all the time. is it because you need to pay for them out of pocket instead of getting it on Medi-Cal? ## Hello, Hugo! How are you? I'm sorry, but the ones with the 500mgs of Acetaminophen in them are no longer available. The maximum amount of Acetaminophen that is now approved for these combination medications is no more than 325mgs per dose. Thus, if you have a prescription for one with the higher amount, you'll need to see your doctor for a new prescription. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Having Medi-Cal has nothing to do with it.

My friend and I are both prescribed Lortab APAP10/500's. I get the Watson 540 blue pills and he gets the M363 white pills. The Watson White Generic Lortab 10-500 has been changed and they DO NOT work to relieve Pain thanks to our regulaters. I have taken the blue ones for years for chronic pain and I can say Diffinently they Do Not Work ! Go to Norco 10-525 and add childrens tylneol to get 500 mg acetiminifen and you will get the help the ue Watsons use to give. Just stop using the white ones so they will feel the decline in sales! Fact! ## Watson was bought out by Actavis. I checked the website and the yellow Norco is also white. This new company has obviously changed the fillers/binders/diluents. The website does not say what "inactive" ingredients are in these new tablets either so that we can compare. I have kidnystones at least every 2 weeks they put me on the white ones and said its just as good for pain all those who say that need to have a full blown stone and see how they deal with it. ## Tony, this conversation has been going on for a while. It seems most people are having problems with the 10mg whites from Watson. The only thing you can do is either 1. Have doc write for name brand only as medically necessary or 2. Ask pharmacy to change you from Watson to another brand like Qualitest. If they won't, take your rx to a pharmacy that doesn't use the Watson brand. However, if you already have the new script, you won't be able to get another script til next time unless doc approves it. You can bring your current hydros back to the doc & see if he/shee will give a n...

I used to take 1/2 blue pill in the morning for years but now I need two whole white ones to be able to move around. Sucks!!! I also developed white bumps on my ankles and swelling in my left foot but not painful or any itching. anyone else? ## Hi, Jo! Sorry about the problems you're having… And yes, there are plenty of other people that have posted about experiencing odd side effects from them and stating that they don't seem to be as effective. Lortab pain medication. I want to make sure it's a pain med and mgs. ## What is this pill? ## The imprint on this is actually WATSON 540 and it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin. It is a narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such a nausea, dizziness, constipation and drowsiness. Learn more Vicodin details here. It sounds to me like there's something drug manufacturers are not telling us. Surely it'll come out of the wood work over the next few years when the FDA decides to investigate why so many patients aren't getting any relief from these new meds. A lot of the time, certain side effects can also be associated with all the binders and fillers they put in each...

Does anyone know what Watson did or why they changed their formula for Lortab 10/500? It used to be blue and when I picked up my refill today they are now white. I still have a few days of my blue left but I swapped a few so I can try the white. I'm waiting for it to start working and I took it over 2 hours ago. My rx is 1-2 every 3 hours not to exceed 7 in a day. (my pm dr wants me on a stronger med but anything above hydrocodone makes me euphoric and I can't function) The blue color lortab starts to work within 15 mins.
