Thanks for your time n your help. My email- {edited for privacy}. ## Hello, Adam! How are you? It would be best to check with your doctor, before taking it. St. John's Wort may reduce the efficacy of the Buprenorphine in the Suboxone. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I c...

I'm on 108 mgs of methadone and 3mg's a day of klonapin. I want to start to take addium but don't know if they will mix without any side affects. ## From what I could gather, Addium reportedly contains the following set of ingredients: Caffeine GABA Bacopa Monnieri Alpha GPC L-Theanine Phosphatidylserine L-Tyrosine Vinpocetine Huperzine A According to umm.edu, there ARE drug interactions between Caffeine and Klonopin, stating that Caffeine may inhibit the effects of Klonopin, causing it to not work as well. They also go on to note that taking Klonopin with Methadone can result in serious side effects, such as dizziness, confusion, lack of coordination, excessive tiredness, etc. Outside of that, Phosphatidylserine + L-Tyrosine do not list any interactions with Methadone or Kl...

off white or white oblong capsule with red stripe dividing the capsule off center - what is this? no other markings seen. ## Unfortunately, if there are no markings, the only way to positively identify it would be to pay to have it lab tested. It could be any one of a large number of over the counter items or foreign medications. We can, however, rule out it being a legal, U.S. prescription drug, since they are all required, by law, to have markings to enable their ID. There is a capsule from Redline that meets this description, it is sold as an over the counter, body building supplement for weight lifters and athletes. It contains a proprietary blend of: Caffeine, Evobum, L-Tyrosine, Guggulsterone, Yerba Mate, Green Tea, Tryptophan, Vinpocetine and Yohimbine. Has anyone used this produ...

I've been taking hydroxyurea for E.T for 8yrs. now. Would vinpocetine be of any help? Also, what about pregnenoline? ## Hello, Charles! How are you? I'm sorry about your condition. Both of these are just considered supplements in the U.S. The FDA has not approved them for any medical use. According to some research articles, Vinpocetine is said to have cerebral blood-flow enhancing effects. Pregnenolone is a steroid hormone and while I'm seeing various benefits claimed for it, such as being neuroprotective, I've not seen anything about it helping with these types of blood issues. Have you consulted your doctor? There might not be any harm in trying them, but only your doctor can say with any certainty. ## Thank you for your thoughts.
