Can I take a 7.25 oxycodone every six hours with a 500 mg tynol once a day? Will it hurt my health ? ## Hello, Carol! How are you? You can take them together, if your doctor approves, Acetaminophen can augment the efficacy of the Oxycodone in some people that take it. However, as reported by the U.S. FDA, long-term use of high doses of Acetaminophen carries the risk of liver damage, or failure. They also warn that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone have experience with this medication? Preferably the Tynept 12.5mg brand from India. ## Tianeptine isn't available in the U.S., so I'm not familiar with it. The available information I've found states that it is used for depression, but also some forms of pain, and anxiety. There are many similar medications available in the U.S., and Canada. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes. and weight changes. Here is some more information on Antidepressants from the MayoClinic. Has this been recommended? What medications are already being used?

I am taking two 300 tynol/b every 4 hours. It this too much ## Manufacturer guidelines note the following... The usual adult dosage is: Acetaminophen (300mg-1000mg) 4x daily for a maximum dose of 4000mg within a 24 hour period. Codeine Phosphate (15mg-60mg) 4x daily for a maximum of 360mg within a 24 hour period. Doses may be repeated up to every 4 hours. The prescriber must determine the number of tablets per dose, and the maximum number of tablets per 24 hours based upon the above dosage guidance. This information should be conveyed in the prescription. NOTE: Keep in mind that high doses of either of these are considered to be toxic. Acetaminophen: toxic dose 10 g Codeine: toxic dose 240 mg I hope this information helps!

found a bottle of tynol, the date is expired, is it safe to take, still have a bottle left. ## No, Acetaminophen does not get dangerous after the expiration date, however, it may have lost potency, so it may not work as well as it did when it was new. Too much, however, can be very dangerous, so it is not safe to try to take more of it, to achieve the same results. Do you have any questions? ## If acetamenophen has lost potency due to age, why is it dangerous to take more to get the same effect? ## I had a doctor tell me yesterday NEVER to take expired Tylenol. Pharmacist said today also not to take expired aspirin or antibiotics. Other drugs amy/will lose potency.

I have just been cut off from my doctors for taking too many norco. I've been on them 20 years, have severe tmj and no way to fix it, i am now without anything and am really on the verge...... I need a doctor or if anyone knows anyone where i can get rid of the pain. I was laid up for 3 days with this problem, can someone help? please ## You should probably been on a extended release med, since your pain is chronic. Also, always consult your doctor if your doseage is not no longer working for you before taking more than prescribed. Norco is not a good med to be on for a long period of time due to the tynlenol. I am taking oxcycontin 60 mg three times a day but since they coated them i find that they make me sick and raising heck with my blood sugar, what else can i take in its place. ## Ask your doctor if methadone is a alternative for you. My husband takes this instead of the oxy and works far better for his pain, but not all doctors are willing to prescribe this. i have these pill marked 44 455 on the side i think its a tynanol for the flu or cold.but i dont have the pakedge and it doesnt say what it is.

All lortab 10 are pretty much the same the only diffenece is the amount of tynenol in them.
