I caused some sort of nerve damage to my knee in May of 2014 by walking the treadmill every other day. I first felt a mild soreness in my knee, but then one night, I was waked up by a huge pain emitting from my knee down my calf. From then on for over 4 months I was in severe pain 24/7. Could not sit in anything but a straight chair and that for maybe 15 minutes. Could not ride in a car for more than a few seconds before a knifing pain took over. I was pretty much bed bound with my leg up on a pillow. Even eating a meal at the table was hard. Went to three different orthopedists, all of whom felt the problem was arthritis. Then I thought, "No way." And I went to a neurologist who immediately put me on 50mg of Lyrica. Then on 100. After a month, about half the pain was gone, then...

Hello, does anyone have advice or comments regarding severe sweating when running while taking Valsartan (160mg)? I’m a distance runner and not a huge sweater especially indoors on the treadmill. Today is my second day on this Rx and I had extreme sweating on my whole body. Stopped at 2 miles. Anything to worry about? I drink plenty of Gatorade while running. ## Hello JR, I would like to start by saying our bodies do tend to act differently when we start taking new medications but be cautious because the manufacturer instructs you to immediately seek medical attention of you feel like you are about to faint or that your heart beat becomes irregular. I have been on flecainide 150mg twice daily since about 2008 and i have had an Ablation in 2010 which did not work. I have two questions first has any one had extreme almost abilatating fatique ? After complaining to my doctor he had me run on the treadmill and did other test but can not explain the source of the fatique. So I started researching it on my own. My other question has anyone had a second ablation and it did not work ? I have rhematiod arthritist but this suck so much worst than the pain. ## Hello, Phil! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, fatigue is a known side effect of this medication and it is known to be severe, almost debilitating in some people that take it. Have had osteopenia for few yrs., recently diagnosed with osteoporosis in lower spine. First prolia inj. Nov. 2013 and felt good for a few months. Then UTI which I rarely ever had before - bladder feels tender all the time. I am now 76. Use treadmill 20 min when able and yoga stretches. Plan to increase exercises regardless and just rest often. After 2nd inj. I had severe reflux for several weeks, then abdomenal pain and bloating, bowel issues. Now Ive had a headache, jaw and face pain for several days. Stiff neck. Nothing has helped it. I suffer from hypothroidism, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, so widespread pain is no stranger to me, but this is different. Keep pain Medications to a minimum. Wake up stiff for longer than usual. Currently taking ice packs to bed for burning hands and...

I have had a total thyroidectomy in January. After several months and testing I have gone from 100mcg down to 50mcg. I am told that means that there has to be some thyroid tissue remaining. I have gained weight almost 10 pounds, watch what I eat and am on the treadmill 45 minutes a day 7 days a week. I have hot flashes and night sweats multiple times a day. What am I to do not only for the side effects but also the weight gain. HELP!! ## Has your doctor provided you with any advice? Unfortunately, with a thyroid problem and taking Levothyroxine, you may never be able to completely escape the side effects and weight issues. I remember my mother was never happy with them, but she never did find any other solution. ## I was taking Levothyroxine 75mcg for a few years. I recently started syn...

I feel I have been on all anti-pressants ever made, I self medicated with booze for a long time so of course none of them worked or made me sleepy. Well finally I got off the booze about 4 years ago and I like Remeron but I`m diabetic and scared of all the talk about weight gain, I keep my numbers down for the diebetes, I`m 67 and I tread very lightly. ## Have you talked to your doctor? I know you say that you've tried them all, but there are some relatively new ones on the market and not all of them are known to cause weight gain. Your doctor may be able to suggest one you can try that wouldn't cause this issue. I understand why you tread lightly, being diabetic and your age. Have you tried any natural treatments? Some people have great luck with OTC supplements such as Ashwaga...

I am a 76 year old man with afib. My EP suggested Eliquis and gave me a 30 day free sample. I have used it and am on my first 90 day refill. After reading all of the comments on this web site I was reluctant to try Eliquis. As of now I have had no side effects. I am about 5' 10" and weigh 215. I spend 20 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes in an exercise routine daily. If I notice any adverse side effects as time goes by I will repost on this site. ## Hello, Newport Jim! How are you? Thank you for the helpful post! Not everyone has problems taking Eliquis, it's just that those that day are usually the ones hunting up a site like this to discuss the problems. The millions of people that take any given medication, without a problem, are rarely online discussing their posit...

I have been taking this product for a number of years, and the past 2 years I have extreme bouts of total body itching(like chiggers), but you see nothing!! The only thing that helps is turning a fan on high over the body or if cold outside then go outside. I have noticed the past month or so with increased resistance training(weights) or the treadmill it is getting a lot more frequent. Gotten to the point I don't know what I can do without triggering it. I also take losartan 50mg, diltiazem 240mg, motrin 600mg,Isosorbide Mononitrate 30mg, and numerous COPD inhalers., and now I'm oxygen dependent for seem like anything other than sitting. ## Have you consulted your doctor about this problem? I am taking both lamictal and topomax for seizures and would like to try lipozene. I have lost about 80 lbs. of weight but now I have so much flab that I need to get rid of in my mid section, lower thighs, and inner thighs. I've been excercising for the past two months now and nothing is not working. I've been weight lifting, working out on the machines, even using the treadmill and eliptical, but nothing seems to work! When I saw this commercial, I thought about it and was wondering if it would be safe? I know that it can be bought in retail stores like Walgreens so, I would try it there anyway. Liposuction is so expensive and I cannot afford that, so, this would probably be my only way out at this point unless there is another route I can take! Does anyone know if this is safe...

Started cymbalta med in late 2006. Initially, I lost about 8 lb and besides some other "bad" side effects, the results to this day are good and 'steady'. However, in the last four years the weight has started to creep up little by little to where I can not (even with modest excessive) get back down to where it was initially in 2006. Also, as I eat properly and very cautiously, the weight now drastically fluctuates from day to day. I believe my age, now 61, along with the 60mg of cymbalta, might demand at least ..now...35 minutes on treadmill three times a week for this initial weight loss to be restored....but I'm a bit lazy recently..... ## Hello, Howard!
