My Psychiatrist has me on 200 mg. of zoloft and I'm, being tapered (my choice) off of klonipin--currently 1mg. I'm terrified of getting serotonin syndrome! I was also on trazodone to help me sleep until I read about ser. syndrome. So now, I just deal with the insomnia. Anyone else have this terror? ## It is a very rare occurrence, so not something that you should genuinely be terrified about. The Zoloft contains the active ingredient Sertraline, which is an SSRI antidepressant and there is as much a chance of it causing serotonin syndrome as there was with the Trazodone.
