Thyroxine Tablets 50mg

my recent Serum TSH test showed a result of >150.0 ulu/ml(in micro). where the normal results should have been in the range 0.3 - 5.0 mlu/ml. my Doctor concluded on Hpothyroidism and suggested to take 1 tab of thyronorm 100. pls suggest if conclusion is correct. ## side effets of thyroxine sodium tablets. can it cause stones in kideny? ## can a pateint taking thyronorm 100mg also takes viagra25/50mg.is it safe ## Hello madm l have thyroid last 2 mnths using throxine sodium 100 mcg. my tsh test report is 56.9 ulU/ml . iam pregnant of 4 months and taking 50mg thyroxin tablets .should i continue intake of tablet or is it harmful to my baby ## I am male of 63 years old I found my TSH 11.6 before 2 months my doctor advised Thyoroxine 25 mg tab for first 30 days then TSH remained 6.68 now i am taking the same tablet of 50 mg. Levothyroxine is a naturally occurring hormone in the body, so in these doses that usually just replace what your body is missing, it hasn't been known to cause harm to the baby. I was prescribed 50mg tablets of thyroxine to replace the 2x 25mg tablets I had been on. Stupidly I forgot and for 10 days have been taking 2x 50mg tablets. I realised this morning and haven't taken any today. Will this double dose cause any problems? Aside from my general health, I am undertaking ivf this week and I'm worried that this double dose will cause problems. Can anyone shed any light and put my mind at ease?
